Folks believe it or not,the real highlight of this restaurant is the “ Bourbon Chicken “ it’s the Holy Grail of anything else on the menu. Its often overlooked because a lot of people don’t know much about this legendary chicken. To the common person it looks like any plain grilled chicken but it’s the sauce and the charcoal combined gives this chicken a taste like no other.I live in East NY of Brooklyn and I have to get on the belt parkway just to enjoy this.it’s so worth it.it’s the best chicken I ever had hands down.it’s so good.I came back a few days later and placed a large order and took to my work in Queens. My co-workers obliterated the chicken in minutes lol they all fell in love with it.it’s basically grilled chicken seasoned in a sweet bourbon sauce.I usually have that with garlic spinach and mashed potato and a little sweet plantains on the side.A healthy combination and keeps you full. For anyone who lives in Queens there’s also a Chinese food court in green acres mall that also sells the same chicken.anyway i usually buy a lot when I come here because I’m far away.you should buy a lot when u go there because it’s sooooo good you will want seconds lol lol Just make sure you call first for...
Read moreThe food is decent. - Not to oily, just perfect for "takeout" (chines menu). The customer service on the other hand is questionable. They charge "tax", but they probably just pocket the difference as a "bonus" by calculating it on their little "calculators" which they erase. They also push you to buy more on the menu and the wait time for the food is long. The manager( woman? ) seems like she's from a foreign country because she has a really strong domineering personality, where her workers are either scared of her, or scared of being fired. I"m assuming since it's near the train, their property taxes are higher, so they charge more than usual for their food. The problem is, the quality does not equate to the price you pay for it. Especially when they don't even pay the "tax" portion because there is no way you can easily change the final price by adjusting your "tax". For example, I ordered 14.49 worth of food with "tax". The manager then changed the total to 14.45, and then gave me 3 quarters back from $15. I would have argued with her, but you can't reason with thief's once they take your money, except by writing a...
Read moreThe food was good but I have issues with the service. After ordering, the phone operator repeated the order back to me and I noticed that he said 2 orders of the salmon dish. Instead I had ordered 1. I thought he would remove the other dish but I received the two dishes. I thought it strange when he said that the total was over $50 when I only ordered approximately $35 worth of food based on the lastest menu that I had. So I asked the phone operator to send over a menu because the amount was suspicious, which he did not send. The fact that he did not bother to send over the menu, sent and charged me for additional items that I did not order or the price isn't updated on the website makes me think that something is shady about this business. My recommendation if you want to order from here is to visit the business in person instead of ordering over the phone. That way you'll know exactly what you are getting and what you can...
