Fina's Farmhouse — Restaurant in New York

If you’re considering Fina’s Farm Restaurant, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. Our experience here was nothing short of frustrating and disappointing. While the hostess who seated us was very kind, and the staff initially seemed friendly, the service we received from our server, Jamie, was appalling.

Not only did she disregard our order, but she also showed a complete lack of care for her customers. Other tables that arrived well after us—some with larger parties of up to 10 people—received their food long before we did, leaving us waiting endlessly without so much as an update.

To make matters worse, when we asked about the starter that both my wife and I had clearly ordered well in advance, Jamie argued with us and claimed we hadn’t ordered it as a starter. Her dismissive tone and refusal to acknowledge the mistake made the experience even more frustrating.

If you enjoy waiting 60+ minutes to receive even a crumb of food—or if you have 10 people with you—you might find this place tolerable, but I strongly suggest bringing a snack to hold you over.

Today was the third time that I had brunch at Fina's and unlike the last 2 wonderful times today was unfortunately unpleasant. There was a problem with my order and for some reason my order was not brought to the table with all whom I was seated with. I ordered Angus steak and eggs. I was told that the steak would be out shortly and I did enjoy the chai beverage that I had ordered while I was waiting. By the time the steak arrived everyone was almost finished and it was about 15 minutes after everyone else had gotten their food. Whether the steak was Angus or not for the price I was not expecting a hanger steak but I tried it anyway and I couldn't even chew it or swallow it and I had to return the plate. The steak was not of the quality that I was expecting for the price whether Angus or not. I wish that the steak was properly cooked for even a hanger steak I would have been fine with that. The hostess was very accommodating and understood and I changed the plate for a sandwich which was okay. She did not charge for the drinks to accommodate the situation. I enjoy the place and I wish that this didn't happen today...

I recently visited Fina’s Farmhouse in Staten Island for breakfast with my family and had a delightful experience.
