Giovani's Big Pizza — Restaurant in New York

Listen your not gonna get the authentic Italian pizza experience. But for the neighborhood your gonna get the best experience for the neighborhood. Beats out any hood pizza place. I dont eat in at many places but I definitely eat in here. Homesless people try to panhandle inside but the staff steps in with the occasional "Please leave my customers alone!" which is very very very appreciated. If your a returning customer and have a familiar face the staff will give you a fist bump and treat you well. I love coming here and I recommend everyone else come here also. It's owned by a Dominican man named Giovanni and he's the man. He has a lot more Italian selections than any other place and it is appreciated as an Italian myself.

Cons The atmosphere needs updating. New seats and tables are needed.

I order a burger and never get pickles lol. I always have to ask

the meat balls are always cut up and can use a better recipe.

So I decided to buy pizza for my staff and decided to try this spot for the first time. So they took longer then expected, the food was cold. The pizza was stiff as a card board and they use that same bread that little Cesar’s uses and it was over cooked and they was missing one box and my pasta was not present and the garlic bread was terrible and the garlic knots had way to much garlic pieces and it was not cooked fully and soggy. The delivery guys at these mom and pops store don’t want to meet you at the door they want you to go to the car as if I didn’t just pay for delivery. So definitely will stay clear of this place. Worse experience ever with a business. Ordered Pizza Buffalo Wings and a Soda at 2:07 PM almost 2 hrs later I received cold pizza Fried Chicken and French Fries. I immediately called the Pizza shop and the guy told me they would send me the right wings as I just figured I'd heat up the pizza. Another 2 hrs later I called back and the person on the phone gonna lie to me and say they called me numerous times which never happened because my phone never rang. They also lied and said they rang the bell downstairs another lie as I sat here watching football. They never have to worry about me ordering from there again and...
