Golden 11 — Restaurant in New York

Update: Came again recently and service was especially rude. They also got my order wrong and said that I ordered the wrong thing... Absurd

Update 2: Really bad takeout experience with a big order (10+ dishes). House special seafood stir fry had bitter mushrooms and hard/dry squid. Walnut shrimp was also hard/dry. Lamb chops and pork chops were both overcooked and dry as well. Absolute waste of money...

Original review: Everything was delicious! Walnut shrimp, peking pork chops, salt pepper squid, steamed fish, conch, etc.

Took a star off for the mushroom e-noodles for using button mushrooms instead of shiitake (still tasted great though) and they ran out of sweet soup for dessert.

Waiters were a bit hard to get, but it was a busy night and the place was packed. Personally, I don't mind too much, pretty common at these establishments and I'm used to it. If it's a big deal for you, probably not the best place for dinner. They should definitely hire a few...

I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone. 1st off i want into the restaurant to make a reservation and they told me they got a spot open at 8pm for us. we got there by 745pm and by 8pm there was no table for us AT ALL. we waited until 845pm just for a table.I believe they give our table to someone else. they didnt even apology to us for the long time wait. we can them few time how much long and they kept telling us oh this table is almost done. their price is ridiculously expenses. there should a law that require restaurant to use a POS System to take order and not hand written because am sure i got overcharge for most of the food we order. they can just change the price and we wouldnt even know unless you ask them for the menu and check one by one. at the end they overcharge me on my bill when i added everything up. if you do go to this restaurant please be real careful and if you make a reservation make sure they honor it and not make you wait a...

We booked one of the rooms for my in-laws and parents/fam. Food was absolutely delicious and great for the price. The salted egg fried Alaskan crab was our fave. Lobster friend rice, fish maw crab meat soup, jelly fish, lamb chops, seafood fried golden noodles, snow pea shoot leaves with garlic, lamb chops, and Giant sea clam and scallops with Golden fried bean curd were all spectacular. Had a great time and both families sang their hearts out. Truly a moment to remember with scrumptious food and everything had the perfect texture and ingredients.
