Hello Papa's — Restaurant in New York

I have been going to Papa’s for over 6 years and it's a hidden gem on Staten Island.

You could never go wrong with your choices; they have been increasing their menus.

Their Sri Lankan pastries are awesome, they sell fast, and often I have to call John (owner) to save me 2 chicken pastries.

If you like spicy food - go for the Deviled Chicken. If you are a traditionalist, their fried chicken is something to keep coming back to. As others say their Rice on Lamb or Chicken is my quick meal choice.

If i could i will not even gave one star to this place. First thing long wait and then when i finally got my order and came home one thing was missing and 3 pieces of chicken was raton. Even when i open the box it's small so bad and when i called them and told them they didn't believe me. The owner was super super rude. I went to show them and they still didn't believe that chicken is bad and 1 thing is missing.they didn't even return my money back and didn't bother to say sorry. So highly not recommend this place. This is very sad, some prices have been raised by 4 dollars (44%) and some by over 20%, I know inflation affected everyone, but a 10% price raise would have been ok and fair. But this is a well over 40% price increase on some of our favorites. This was one of our favorite place to get some well prepared tasty food. But now we have to find another favorite place, or start cooking everyday. At least I will sharpen my cooking skills.
