Ho'Brah — Restaurant in New York

Pleasant place. The restaurant followed all covid measures back when I went to dinner in April , everything was sanitized and all staff wore masks with temp checks. I love the ambiance of the place, very Cali. The indoor booths can seat lots of people and the decor with surfboards is lovely. There is a nice bar too that can sit over 10 people. I like their menu, between the street corn and lengthy list of creative tacos there is something for everyone. I like their korean tacos and all the chicken tacos have never disappointed me. The guacamole is a greater starter ( you get like tons of chip refills). I think the spicy margaritas are also solid and really strong along with other drinks, yet it feels like they can add more lime as opposed to all the sugar. I felt service in outdoor dining wasn’t bad they just seemed understaffed and overwhelmed. The lights and tables are gorgeous though, really makes it feel like summer. I would definitely return here to try...

Ordered for the first time here and it was just ok. It seems like this place would be really good if you get to sit there and actually eat. They were so rushed that they gave my husband a problem picking up the food because they didn’t know how to pronounce my name. Instead of looking up a name that may be similar until you get the actual order.... Food was so cold but tasty I must say. They are way overpriced. I asked for a side of crema and ranch and they dared to charge me an extra $2.18 for it, the cherry on top was that I didn’t even get what I asked for. They gave me sour cream instead. I have a whole thing of sour cream in my fridge I probably bought for less than what they charged for two small sample cups. I don’t really know if I’ll ever return.

Edit: I changed it to one star because my 7 yr old daughter got food poisoning. I have also felt sick since eating it. Don’t...

Usually I don't write reviews. But this place really got under my skin. Place is terrible for food and drinks PERIOD. Starting with the broad that served us, she somehow spilled the drink on my lap.

Our food is brought out by this cocky looking full sleeved cook with his team. The food sure looks pretty to the eye, but the taste was not.The chicken in the fajita was chewy, the wings were paired with some weird sauce that did not go well. Essentials such as beans and rice was a joke. This is the type of food that he won't dare to eat himself and if his friends eat it, they would either laugh in his face or pretend its good.

We had to ask for silverware when all the food arrived. The place legit has no lights and was very dark.The music was extremely loud for no reason.

Its like they can't afford to turn on the lights. Should be called "HOBO tacos"...
