I Love NY Pizza on Hoosick — Restaurant in New York

No stars to offer. Order was made incorrectly. When I called for an incorrect item that was made, I was verbally attacked by the owner. Next time he says be more specific!! How much more specific can I be when I say just the chicken and American cheese? Does it mean chicken, American cheese and red sauce? When I ask for ham and American cheese, does this sound like ham and Mozzarella? I am not quite sure how much more specific I can be. I am sorry there is an issue everytime I order, if the very simple request were followed, there wouldn't be any issues at all. Please tell me why I shouldn't have what I order. If I ever decide to give my business to you again I will for sure make sure I spell it out for you! I really hope you don't treat all your customers the way you treated me, because simple instructions can't be followed. I've been going to "I Love NY Pizza" on upper Hoosick Street, Troy NY for years (previous and now the new owners).

The family owned business team makes all their customers feel right at home when they walk in the door.

Dunya, the beautiful young lady, at the front register, is always gracious, friendly and kind to me when I am placing pizza orders and cashing out with her - as I see she is with other customers too.

David, the pizza maker, makes a variety of different types of pizzas - I found the regular cheese, meat (pepperoni and sauage), vegetable (green peppers and mushrooms), and the ricotta cheese pizzas all to be very flavorful and tasteful!

Team, "I Love NY Pizza" keep up the excellent job you do at serving your customers and operating your pizza 🍕 business well!

UPDATE 2024 Thie business has unfortunately changed owners. The quality and taste of the pizza here is now very disappointing! I've tried it a couple times to give it a real chance, but will never be ordering from here again. Crust is tasteless, bland, and hard, the sauce is not good either, and overall the pizza is much more greasy and smaller.

This is our #1 choice for pizza locally. The staff is very friendly, and the pizza is amazing. I grew up in a town where all the pizza was great, but when I moved to the capital district I was highly disappointed by all the choices. It is truly difficult to find good pizza out here.
