My first time at Aldi was a week or so ago and it’s was a pretty cool place. You use a quarter to access a shopping cart. Shopping carts are wider than most shopping carts, and the aisles of the market where a good size but absolutely cluttered with people and other carts as well as staff restocking produce exc. alot of traffic in the store. They have good produce and pretty much sell one option per food item compared to other stores that have 7 different brand options. People use cardboard boxes as shopping baskets. BUT WHY !!!! does the produce go bad soooo fast... i bought mushrooms, i know its a fungus goes bad fast. but like they lasted less then a day! i bought them to make a dish the next day and they where all moldy. i even looked at them with my phone flash light to make sure none of the lower ones where bad. its like you can get everything here but produce to last. also them brioche buns for hotdogs/burgers are like the best thing i ever ate off a grill. most other produce isn't to bad either. some times ill get cherry tomato's that will last weeks then ill get one that will last maybe 3 days. its just this...
