Jody's Club Forest — Restaurant in New York

We went for lunch as a family —my wife, daughter, and I— and overall had a very pleasant time. The music and general atmosphere were comfortable and inviting, with other families with young children around, which made us feel right at home.

Nicole, our server, was kind and attentive to our needs. She answered our questions about the burgers clearly, although it would have been ideal if she had asked upfront about any allergies or dietary restrictions. That said, when I mentioned a potential allergy, she handled it well and gave me the right information.

Our daughter loved the fries —crispy and flavorful— and I ordered the Blue Cheese Butter Burger. While the combination was interesting, I found the patty itself a bit underwhelming in flavor —it could have used a bit more character.

The wait time was comfortable, not long at all, and the prices were quite reasonable —friendly for all kinds of budgets. The place also seemed clean and well maintained, which added to the overall positive experience.

A great plus for parents: they have a baby changing station in a spacious and hygienic area —a small detail that makes a big difference.

I've been to Jody's a few times before over many years. BUT, this was my 1st time going here for the St. Patrick's Day Parade on Forest Avenue. The 1st thing I can tell you is that I had a great time. I haven't had that much fun in a LONG TIME!! It's been years since I've last went out for the parade & Jody's was the place to be. Nevertheless, was it very well organized, and I was able to actually walk thru out the place without spilling my drink. Lol 😆 🤣. The line for the bathroom was always moving, and of course, there were cornbeef, hot dogs 🌭 and whatever else Jody's had out for food. When it came to getting a drink at the bar. Never a problem! NO long lines, long waits, and the bartenders were spot on!! They had a DJ playing good music thru out the day into the evening. Last, the backyard was open as well. Which to me was a BONUS! THE entire STAFF was very friendly, and so were the SECURITY team. Even though nowadays the St. Patrick's Day Parade on Forest Avenue is ruled by the 20s to 30's year Olds. As I am in my late 40s and I didn't mind going out. I definitely had a really great time!! Job well...

I'm sorry the service was fine I ordered to go so ?? I recently ordered a couple of burgers absolutely the worst burger I ever has we couldn't even eat it had to feed it to my dog he was happy at least .. no blue cheese on my blue cheese burger not mediu.m like we ordered mine was medium raw and my buddies burger was burnt 44 bucks plus tip extremely dissatisfied and said I promise next time you come in again I promise you that you guys will be satisfied why do you think I'm gonna spend another 50 bucks in you're copy cat Duffy's burger that clearly is not Duffy's like 10 waffle fries in the whole order .. I don't know what happened to Jody's I ordered a steak last time and it was delicious. But I'm sorry for such a bad review but when you spend close to 50 dollars burger should be cooked the way you ordered... and way too much for 2 burgers 44 dollars ?? Really I'm not gonna risk losing another fifty bucks .. on the bright side my dog really enjoyed the bacon 🥓 from my buddy's burger ... sorry but step up you're game or don't try to copy Duffy's.. sorry not risking a re order ......
