Was really looking forward to trying their famous shrimp parm and roast beef sandwich, but was unfortunately quite disappointed and underwhelmed. The shrimp parm was quite flavorless and nothing special at all, which is definitely not worth the $10+ for the roll. The roast beef was just okay, with the highlight being the generous thick slice of cheese; the hero would've been even more delicious if they were a bit more generous with the onions. The gravy was a tad bit too sweet, which can be easily fixed by just increasing its saltiness. Overall, spent around 28 bucks for two mediocre sandwiches, which was unfortunate for it had so much potential. The ambiance is just meh, with the dining area appearing a bit unclean and not really that welcoming. Service was okay as well. Thanks for reading and good luck! (:

Absolutely amazing deli. Highly recommended! Every time we visit Staten Island this is a definite stop. The roast beef & mozz hero is my favorite. Very inexpensive and you get a large portion of food. The staff is also extremely nice.

this place does not fall into the John's deli standards. Grew up by the one in Stilwell in brooklyn, I like the one in Richmond Rd si , they always give a good amount of roast beef , sauce , and onions . Sandwich today had neither of which requested extra onions extra sauce . The flavor is there but when you are having a John's deli roast beef sandwich with onions and gravy and meat just surrounds that one bite, I ate the whole sandwich and I'm still hungry this sandwich is 40% less than any other John's deli that I ever been to, when you have a John's deli sandwich you're so full because and fulfill , not here . it should just tastes very fulfilling. I don't get to eat this when I do I want to have it the same way I grew up eating it at the original location , this places failed to give me that exact feel. Go to any of these other John's deli and compare you'll know the difference in...

This place was recommended to me so I figured let me give it a try I ordered the pastrami on rye They had a nice selection of hot food in the Steam table I tried a meatball while I was waiting for the pastrami then I saw The fried shrimp So I ordered a Shrimp parmesan sandwich. For me I would prefer a little more pastrami on the meat Maybe because that's what I've been used to at eating some of these other Pastrami house places But the sandwich was juicy and tender it was like just the right amount perfect bite size while iam driving Yes I eat...
