KPOT Korean BBQ & Hot Pot — Restaurant in New York

If you had kbbq in flushing or the city you'll be disappointed. We went as a party of 5 for kbbq. The decor looks cool and kpop is playing. The buffet where you pick your meat is too narrow for people to pick you end up rushing as other tables come to get food. The food is okay the frozen cuts of meat tasted better than the spicy and seasoned meat. The server kept asking if we want to change grill instead just saying let me change that for you. There's no pull down chimney so be prepared to smell like smoke and have your eyes burn. The drinks were bad it was either bitter or too sour and in the wrong glass. We sent the drink back and saw the bartender taste the drink with our straw to see if we were lying. They don't need a bar. Also there's no lettuce variety just romaine and no ssamjang sauce for kbbq. We left hungry and felt like it was a waste of money. Maybe try your luck and hotpot...

As a regular at k pot I’ve been accustomed to the generally good service at most locations, but I thoroughly enjoyed my time at K pot in Howard Beach. My server was Oshim, and he was incredibly attentive and present during our meal. Oftentimes you eat at an establishment and your server is nowhere to be found, to only follow up with you a handful of times - this was not the case at K-Pot with Oshim as my server. Whether it be a small or large party, I’ll be sure to ask for him in the future. Thank you Oshim for going the extra mile, and thank you K Pot Howard Beach for ensuring great service and quality.

Came here for the first time despite all the bad reviews from my friends. The food and ambiance are great but the service of staff can be way better. As a restaurant where we don’t have to order food from you and just drinks and our soup base, our server could’ve checked in more. Though he was in our section a lot it was like we had to wave him down to get him to come over to change out grill, fix my incorrect drink and the bill. We ended up having to ask another server to go get him to bring our bill over. We understand they’re still fairly new and learning but customer service should always be #1.
