Main Street Bagels — Restaurant in New York

Good dim sum. They come around with the carts so efficiently that you can finish in quite a short period of time. Today we got 10 plates in like 5 minutes. Usually it takes longer. I loved the tendon which was unique to my dim sum experience. Everything was on par with the other excellent Flushing restaurants. Parking in the back, or on the street. Well worth the wait. Very attentive staff. Gave it 4 stars.

I went again earlier at 11am. Since the food was not moving as much, some of the dumplings were not as hot. The food is better when we went at 1:30pm. Reduced my rating to 3 stars because I don't recall ever being served cold dumplings at a dim...

Great menu. Fresh menu items. Clean place. Fast service. Kashrus is solid. I really enjoyed how quick they are. Being that it’s Queens and not Brooklyn you get the sense that things are noticeably more laid-back and relaxed. No pushing or shoving or shouting really which is just the norm today in any Brooklyn or Manhattan (dare I say, kosher) bagel shop. My croissant, egg and cheese sandwich was excellent. The employees are quick, speak good English and are helpful in suggesting something from the menu if you have that menu overwhelm like I had as a first time patron. Ample room to sit....

Recently revisisted this bagel spot I was alarmed by how many flies I seen flying around. I was disgusted and decided not to place a order here. Something needs to be done about the flies flying around in the establishment landing on food products possibly laying eggs very alarming and unsanitary definitely seen about 4 flies in just one section...
