I don’t even know how this spot is still in business. First off, the people working there clearly don’t care attitude like they’re doing you a favor just to take your order. I waited over 45 minutes for basic takeout, and when I finally got the bag, half my food was missing and the rest looked like it got stepped on. He was also demanding $30 tips he didn’t wanna take his order we came in at 1:40am he didn’t wanna take our order. He said they were closed and everything was put away he says.

THESE GUYS ARE HORRIBLE AND NEED TO BE FIRED ASAP!! 1. Rude to customers 2.demanding 30$ tips 3.he looked like he was on drugs 4. They didn’t want to take our order at 1:40am when they clearly closed at 2am claiming they don’t get paid enough - disgusting disrespectful and disappointing

We have been here numerous times and also ordered take out. Although we are not from the Astoria neighborhood we enjoy coming back.

It's a very friendly down to earth place. My experience has always been attentive and very polite service. No long waiting. The kitchen and the staff always ask to make sure we received what we ordered. The bartender even pitches in with customers on the dining floor and that's on slow nights so to me that says a lot about team work.

I enjoy the place, the decor is really nice as many reviewers pointed out. Music is really good not too loud which allows for good conversation. Clean including the restroom.

We've had just about everything, I enjoy their quesadilla mostly never had one like theirs you just have to try yourself. The Greek fries are good and the burgers are also really good, can't say we've ever had anything burnt but then again we just are very detailed when ordering to ensure we get our food the way we want it.

I enjoyed the wine although only a few to choose from but that's ok it's more of a beer place but I enjoy it just as well. Prices are reasonable and I will say this again I think the service there is very very good and have never felt they favored other customers. We did not get any complimentary muffins served I read about wasn't aware they served them but perhaps it was just too late at night at night.

We will continue to stop in this place and recommend it. I would suggest customers to speak up if food or service is an issue when visiting any business. Remember you are the customers speak to manager or someone.

I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. Food, drinks and service is good. It's a sandwich bar people you know not a restaurant so they can't be rated the same.

As with everyone and everything in life there is always room for...

I am truly confused by all of the positive reviews about this neighborhood sandwich shop. I knew to expect a "hole in the wall" kind of vibe, which I can forgive if the food is good. Unfortunately, it was not.

Originally wanted a corned beef wrap-they didn't have corned beef. Fine. I asked what the difference is between pastrami and "crazy pastrami" and was told "it's the pickles they put it in and the craziness they do in the kitchen cutting it up". What that means remains unclear, but for $0.50 I went with the crazy pastrami. For the vegetables, I asked for lettuce, mushrooms, and black olives. The ingredients look like they've been sitting out for a few days, certainly not refrigerated. And they were put in a side-dish container with the mustard I asked for put on top then brought to the back to be incorporated into the wrap? Strange.

The wrap itself was difficult to eat. I ended up not even bothering with the vegetables as they were not enjoyable to taste. I have no idea what white sauce is all over the ingredients, as it was nothing I asked for. The pastrami was minimal in quantity and even this was meh.

All of the restaurants in this area have a slight upcharge for being kosher, which I don't totally understand. But in the end I truly regret spending $17.50...

This place reminded me of a well known saying: “don’t judge a book by its cover”. I’m driving up Main Street with my family, and we want to get food. There are a ton of options to eat but my husband remembered a place that he loved going to in high school. The amazing “Sandwich Bar” let me just say: this place was SMALL. I’ve driven on Main Street many times and I never even noticed the place. Anyway we go and pull up to a literal “hole in the wall”. No, I’m not joking, there were holes in the wall. At this point I was really skeptical, but my husband was very enthusiastic. Very simple, basic menu. Base sandwiches with different add in’s. There was literally like 3 people working in this whole place the cook, the assembler, and the cashier. All of which were very nice and helpful. But most importantly fast. Like so fast, it was concerning. Either way, we got our food quick, (Also, not a dine in joint) and went home to eat. And let me just say, WOW! I freaking LOVED it! Best damn sandwich I’ve ever had in my LIFE! The whole time I’m just thinking, “how the heck could this hole in the wall make food this good?!” Anyhow, we’ll be...
