5 Stars for the Forest Avenue location & 1 Star for the Victory & Richmond location:
The Forest Avenue location is great as far as wait time, food & service. The Richmond & Victory location is good during the day but very busy. This only has one line where the Forest location has 2 separate lines and moves faster. I live right by here and drive to the Forest location at night. There’s a bunch of young people that work there. I had a problem with 2 of the guys. One who made me wait 37 minutes when they were closed and was only 1 person in front of me. It took him ten minutes to take my order then said nothing for almost a half hour. When I beeped the horn twice to get his attention he gave me an attitude and said beeping the horn is going to do nothing to help me so I told him off and left. The night staff is either nasty, rude or slow. I went there a few days ago and one guy told another guy I’m getting tired of these people ordering the same thing as he was giving me my bag. I said thank you and he closed the window. My son was really pissed off about that.
I tried to put in a complaint but they wanted so much info I didn’t have because I cancelled the order and left. I didn’t trust that he wasn’t going to spit in my food. The guy night manager had me sitting at the window for 8 minutes while he was there doing something Just for bbq sauce. A woman saw me and said that’s all you’re waiting for. She said some people don’t want to do their job. She’s really nice & friendly every time I see her. There’s a heavy woman with dark hair that works during the day. She’s a real pleasure too, always nasty and brushes you off. I hate that place. I’d rather drive further to avoid the anxiety of the Richmond Ave location. I’ll also mention that the sign says 24 hours as well as the app and I’ve placed 2 orders in two weeks and they closed. The first time they told me they’re closed. The second time they blocked the drive thru with cones. I had to cancel the orders and reorder at the Forest location then wait a week to get my money back. They close whoever they feel like it. They are so...
Read moreThis is by far the worst McDonald’s on Staten Island. I had an absolutely horrible experience here. I get off work at 9pm every night, and this location is the closest fast food spot near me—but forget about “fast” food.
I went through the drive-thru and was told to pull up to a third window (I didn’t even know McDonald’s had a third window). I ordered a Number 7 meal and a cookie tote. After waiting about 5 minutes, someone came to the third window and handed me just the cookies, then said “Have a good night.” I was confused, since I hadn’t received the actual meal I ordered.
I waited another 10 minutes in my car thinking someone would come back. When no one did, I parked and went inside—only to walk into complete chaos. No one was at the register, about 10 people were waiting for food and complaining they had been there for 45 minutes. Even DoorDash drivers were standing around with no help.
When someone finally came to the counter, I explained what happened (at this point, I’d already been there 25 minutes). He apologized and said he’d be right back—but he never came back. I waited another 15 minutes until someone new appeared. I asked to speak to a manager, and that employee also apologized and said they would retrieve my food.
Another 15 minutes passed. A customer nearby loudly pointed out, “This girl has been here for almost an hour!” That’s when I overheard an employee admit they had given my order to someone else and had to “argue” to get it back. When I finally got the bag, it was crumpled and looked like it had been tossed around.
I will never return to this location again....
Read moreSo let me just say I have never been a fan of this McDonald but I recently started working nearby so I began coming often, during the overnight shift. The service actually pretty good for 3am lol. Food is always hot and fresh good customer service, fast too. Well last night I came by and sat in the drive thru behind someone who was already @ the speaker, they were told to wait, I was sitting at the least, 10 minutes. The person in front of me said “hello” nobody answered him. I drive around to the window so I could atleast see if they were open.. I sat there as two different employees looked @ me and failed to come see what I needed or tell me they were closed. Luckily there was a nice gentleman in the drive thru on the phone who told me they were closed. I was there almost 20 minutes total on my lunch break when all someone had to do was say they were closed. There was no sign up, store was lit, like it was open, and yet no one cared to communicate to the 3 or 4 cars that came around the same time as me. I’ve worked @ plenty of McDonald’s in this area so little stuff like this just irks me bc it’s very poor customer service. If you can’t atleast have some sense to answer the person saying hello in the drive thru or say something to someone sitting at the window, then u don’t need the job. It’s rude af and it’s really not a difficult tasks to ask. They hate their job and someone else needs to b put on the schedule. This was June 16th @...
