I’ve been coming to this location for years. It’s close to home and convenient. The workers are usually nice and respectful. Over the years there have been some minor mistakes where my food was missing from my order but it was resolved with no problem. I didn’t have to pay for anything that was missing. I haven’t had any real problems until today. This location has been recently renovated and I see there are a lot of new workers. I don’t recognize anyone except a young lady who may have been the assistant manager. A young man approached my car and asked me for my order. I specifically order 1 large number 9 meal with Seltzer Water and 1 large Fish Fillet meal with seltzer water. He repeated my meals and I was satisfied. At the first window a young lady who took my card to pay for my meal repeated the order to me but I had to correct her on the Seltzer Water when she said Sweet Tea. She also asked if I wanted an extra Seltzer Water and I told her no just the 2 Seltzer Waters with the meals. When I drove up to the 2nd window another young lady handed me my order. I checked the bag and 1 fry was missing. I sipped the drinks to make sure it was Seltzer Water and they ended up being Sprite. They also handed me an extra drink which I clearly stated earlier I didn’t want it. I returned all the drinks back and let them know 1 fry is missing and the drinks are wrong. The young lady looked at me as if it was impossible. I understand people make mistakes but I felt like she wasn’t trying to understand what went wrong with the order. She wasn’t really vocal. You have to be able to communicate with the customer so that things can be resolved appropriately. She leaves the window and I’m assuming she’s gonna correct my order. I wait and eventually she comes back with 2 large drinks assuming it’s Seltzer Water. I sipped it and it was correct. Still waiting on the fries. The young lady I recognized which could be the assistant manager told me they didn’t put the fries in the order. I’m telling her I ordered a meal. It should automatically come with the meal. Come to find out that one of the orders were put in separately instead of a meal. I’m thinking to myself how did they mess that up. The order was simple. I just got frustrated and paid for the damn fry. I think I should of got it for free since it wasn’t my mistake. It’s about satisfying the customer and I wasn’t satisfied. They ended up giving me the drink I didn’t even ask for. I understand that these people are new and they are going to make mistakes but I think they need...
Read moreLet me tell you something straight: the McDonald’s in Queens Village is damn good—shockingly good, even. If you think all McDonald’s are the same, you clearly haven’t pulled up to this location on a hungry afternoon or rolled through their drive-thru at 11 p.m. This spot? It’s got the sauce—literally and figuratively.
The food? Hot, fresh, and consistent. Fries come out golden and crispy like they’re contractually obligated to impress you. Not a soggy spud in sight. Big Macs are stacked properly, none of that sad, lopsided nonsense you get at lesser locations. Nuggets? Crunchy on the outside, juicy on the inside, like they actually care about their fry time. And don’t get me started on the breakfast menu—those Egg McMuffins and hash browns are borderline addictive.
But here’s where they really shine: the service. Fast food doesn’t mean lazy service, and the crew here clearly understands that. The staff is polite, quick on their feet, and somehow always keeps the line moving—even when it’s packed. Drive-thru orders are accurate, the wait time’s reasonable, and the people behind the counter actually greet you like a human being. That’s rare. You’d think they’re running a Chick-fil-A based on how courteous they are—except this is New York, so they do it without the fake-smile energy.
The place is also clean, which matters. Tables wiped down, floors not sticky, soda machines functioning with ice and syrup (unlike the horror shows in some other spots). It’s a well-oiled machine, and you can tell there’s solid management behind it.
So yeah, hats off to the McDonald’s crew in Queens Village. They’re doing the golden arches proud. Whether you’re craving a late-night McFlurry or just need a quick, satisfying bite, this is the location you want. Not just “good for a McDonald’s”—it’s just...
Read moreService was rude and disrespectful from a group of young lady employees were rude to a customer by talking back. The lady manager told group of them to apologize but, they refused and continued arguing. The Lady manager requested kindly many times but the group of girls refused. Finally the lady manager apologized on their behalf. As many of us witnessed it. The girls didn't care and messed up my order when I got home because they were busy fighting. My fault I should of checked my order. The Managers are awesome and wonderful but if the staff needs to know not to argue and if they are not happy don't take it out on the customers. They have many jobs out there and don't make remarks or arguments to customers. It is unprofessional ! They know how to behave when manager Roland is there but misbehaved when the lady manager is there. Those girls are still there .The place has lost its touch during the shift of the girls. The orders get messed up . They should be working separately so they can concentrate and not team up on arguing. Even when a manager tells you to apologize they were proud. I had to write this review because it is important they realize there were other customers...
