Ray Pizza & Grill — Restaurant in New York

I’d give 5 stars for their Hawaiian pizza and 1 star for service. One time I bought a chicken salad and it was nothing like it should be. It looked like the frozen Patties’s they sell at the supermarket and super thin on top of the fact that the guy didn’t call me when my order was ready, he left it on top of the counter for a very long time even the other staff told him about that. They’re also pricey AND yesterday I went to eat here with my kids because they like their Hawaiian pizza and there was an elderly man standing in the back looked very suspicious and when he walked out I noticed a knife in his left hand, he was brandishing it in public. Then he returned back to the same place dragged the chair behind me and sat down right behind my kids and I to which I stood up immediately and left. Usually good food, been coming here since I was a kid. However, one of the workers has to change his attitude. I ordered and picked up a meal twice. On both occasions, the worker giving me my food was rude and unwelcoming. That is not a way to treat your customers. I thought this place was getting closed due to the pandemic and came to support a local business. Next time, my money will go towards one of the better nearby establishments like Golden Pizza, Camaguey Restaurant or even Jimbo's which is right across the street. Decent food,...

I've lived in the neighborhood all my life. The pizza is good, but there is so much more competition nowadays so I really don't like that I have to pay $3.00 for a regular slice, and sales tax on top of a 4% fee for using anything other than cash. on the next corner across the street the pizza is the same size, tastes the same down to the crust and is a flat $1.50 per slice. I'd go there for something other than pizza but I don't have time to pay more for the same stuff that I get for a better price without...
