O G's — Restaurant in New York

So yesterday 9/29/23, I went to this restaurant to buy fry chicken dinner . My mother loves there chicken, I may had tye best fry chicken no lie. But when I order it ,the cashier told me the price I was like since when . I ask her food price raise . Cause I use to pay 14 something inclusive tax so the meal now a 16 something a whole $dollar added. She said yes . I ask her since when. She said she don't know . So same time I saw the older sort woman with short hair come out . And me with my nuff self go asked her if food raise . Hear the woman ask the cashier why me a ask her. I said I did but I chose to aske you cause she said she don't know. Hear her me nuh need to ask her cause a nuh she a cash me and this and that. Thjs worker at this restaurant need to stay in the back and work cause her her face is not make for customer. It always sour and don't know how to talk to people . Even my husband complain about her . She left the store saying she going to get change . A she that. Me pass in a laundry mat on me name . Your chicken is nice and all,but I will never spend my money at your establishment again. When you walk in that restaurant and she's in front the first thing you see a her sour face. ...

I have been to this restaurant twice. A few years back and i had decided not to go back. After waiting 45 mins to be served with only two persons ahead of me. Fast forward a few years i decided to try again lastnight. I had rice and gungo peas, stew chicken and steamed cabbage w/carrots. The food was inedible. The rice was super soggy and mushy and not from the gravy which looked as if they poured half a cup. The chicken also looked unappealing. I returned the food and the young lady in the back informed me that the rice was freshly made within the time frame i purchased the meal. Which is irrelevant. My issue was with the amount of water used to cook the rice. What disappointed me was that she didn't apologize, she did not offer a replacement meal, neither did she take a look. With an attitude she asked for the receipt and refunded my purchase. I would never eat here or recommend this place. EVER! i gave 3 stars for the cashier and her efficiency to which i tipped her. The staff here need training in customer service and presentation. Food is appealing to the eye first. This picture....

I wish I could subtract stars, your service is beyond awful, you do not know how speak properly over the phone, your food is trash, you have no customer service at all, not everyone is Jamaican so speak clearly and have manners, you also greet customers as they approach the counter in a respectful way, don’t just blurt out your Jamaican slangs as if everyone should be able to translate.

When you prepare a made to order meal please do notify the customer ahead of time that certain items are unavailable to prepare the order as per their request do not tell them after the meal has been prepared that you did not go to market so you don’t have some things to put in the food this is atrocious.

Please do better and until I somehow find out that you’ve made the necessary changes I’ll never buy another meal...
