Updating my review from one year ago from 5 star to 2. Clearly it's not the same staff. These people are rude, insensitive and not accommodating especially that male cashier! I came twice this month for something that I liked and was told both them they don't have. Today I simply asked if they stop making it and he just didn't answer. Also, ladies, there's no need to shout at me from behind the counter when you're filling my order. Such a disappointment. I asked my Guyanese friend what is StickTogether and she did not know. She's Guyanese and didn't know. Am I, non Guyanese expected to know? I know buns. My friend said buns. Gently correct me to your way and not insult and abuse. I travel quite a distance to get here but I think I'm done now. I work hard for my money.
My previous review is below.... Everything has changed It has not been my experience to encounter exceptional service at a Caribbean bakery.... It's very different here. I went here twice and both times were lovely experiences from payment to receipt of purchase. I get the butter loaf. Very delicious! My son calls it "real bread". This is...
Read moreApril 6, 2023. I haven't frequented Pam's Bakery in some years. Unfortunately the day my little girl tells me she wants some pastries, I enter the establishment with a cheerful good morning from my lips to receive nothing in return. I'll give the woman nehind the counter the benefit of the doubt that it may have been muffled by her mask. It was a constant battle to hear what she was saying, so much that I decided to just buy what I was able to get and leave. I was hoping to get the other items my daughter requested, but opted to spend my money elsewhere. There was no presence of hospitality in the realm of customer service. She even disappeared without the slightest mention. I was so disappointed today. Sadly I am not alone as previous posts...
Read morePlease check your order before you leave the store. Today I visited Pam's Bakery after traveling a long distance to get there. The lady behind the counter looked confused when looking at my receipt and even remarked that she was uncertain about what I had ordered. I guess that should have been my clue that my order would be messed up. Sure enough, it was. I arrived home with my order minus the pine tarts and fish cakes I paid for. Get it together guys and respect the idea that your customers choose to patronize your business with their hard - earned money so the least you could do is give them what...
