Puerta del Sol — Restaurant in New York

If you order by phone they don't care about you. I have ordered their expensive milkshake only to receive a tiny cup that isn't even filled to the top. I have ordered sweet plantain only to receive a green plantain prepared to pass as a sweet one. Their pupusas are bland, imo, and when they failed to include my desert in my order (but charged me of course) they told me they would send it right over with the delivery person..more than 2 hrs after having placed my order I call asking about it and they tell me theyre busy and I have to wait...for how long? Didn't wait to find out. Got a refund from GrubHub...

I haven't eaten in here yet but I've ordered at least three times through seamless and came in for take-out. The restaurant was super clean and spacious, so you can socially distance as you please. The waitress and other staff there were super warm and friendly which I appreciated.

THE PUPUSAS HERE ARE AMAZING!!!!! THEY TASTE SO GENUINE AND YOU CAN TELL THEY WERE MADE WITH LOVE.

So far, I've had the bean and cheese, chicken and cheese, and cheese and they were all nothing short of amazing. How refreshing it is to have a legitimately amazing spot literally a block away. I hope they never change...

$44+a Generous tip— this is probably the third experience I’ve received from this restaurant. I am not sure if its the owner or the employees that work like they have a stick up their behinds, but I am clear and concise with my order— every single time, the food is either not what I ordered, or is something similar But NOT WHAT I ORDERED.
