Writing a review here to shout out two stellar employees that I encountered today. Tatiana and Luis, thank you for showing what true customer service is supposed to be like. I was on line behind a couple that seemed to enter the facility already upset. As the line started increasing, Luis came to help Tatiana, and I truly have never seen such patience in an establishment. The woman in front of me immediately had an issue with Luis claiming he was violating health codes when he obviously wasn’t. This couple already came in with N95 masks and it seems to me like they’re just germaphobes looking to start problems. Luis apologized despite him not being in the wrong, he went and washed his hands for them to see and proceeded to help them. The woman told me that I could go in front of her because she didn’t want to be helped by Luis. I assured her that there is a system when lines are longer and he would have to help her regardless since Tatiana was positioned at the sauces and register. Luis did nothing but exceed customer service expectations. Mind you, this couple ordered nothing but queso and chips, and had the audacity to ask what the difference is between spicy queso and regular queso when Luis asked them which they would like. To me, that seems like you’re just trying to waste this employees time. She then proceeded to talk to Tatiana about reporting them to the DOH and such. Tatiana did everything right, she offered for the GM to come out and hear the woman out. But the woman said she didn’t want to talk to her again. The fact that she already knew the GM of the establishment and was refusing to speak with them, but rather go above and beyond to complain to a higher power just says a lot. I personally have worked in the restaurant business for years, have family that owns restaurants on the island, and for the past 9 years I have been a sales manager. Kudos to Tatiana and Luis for handling this situation in such a proper manner. I am leaving this review because I can empathize with these employees, and it truly just is not right. Read moreBad service, and if they could get the order right, it still wouldn't make the food any better. I've gone to other qdoba locations that would put this one out of business. The first time I ordered here was by Uber delivery. They forgot a whole bowl from the 3 bowls that were ordered. This time around, I realized that I shouldn't go back for a third time. I ordered pick up through Uber at 5:30. Went in to the store to pick up my order, which only had 2 customers at the time, and my order was not ready. I was told it was just then being made. So I stepped out to the walgreens around the way, and when I came back, it still wasn't ready. I was then told the receipt didn't print properly and that they needed to print a new one. Finally, my order was ready a little after 6, and before I left the store, I checked all 3 bowls that I ordered. 2 of them were missing items, and I was never asked to substitute, let alone told that they weren't added. When I asked if they could be added to the bowls, the young man was sweeping the floor. He told me they were of the corn I asked for and offered me a different corn and then added the tortilla chips to the other bowl with the same dirty gloves he was using to sweep the floor. When coming home from working in the city to the far end of the island, the last thing I want to do is ask for a manager, let alone argue about why this could have gone differently. Read moreJust had the WORST experience I’ve ever encountered at a fast food establishment today at the Qdoba in Tottenville Commons. I had placed an online order for pick up for two burritos, chips and a brownie. My boyfriend ran in to grab our order; before pulling away we checked the contents of the bag and noticed that there was only one burrito and the bag of chips. We went back in to get the missing burrito and brownie and the manager (shorter light brown hair and had a slight accent) asked to see the receipt (rightfully so) I had pulled up the receipt on my phone from the online order and this was not good enough for her, she said she needed the physical copy (not sure why my e-receipt was not good enough. Confirmation number and all) she then starts to remake my burrito all while having the worst attitude. She was barely listening to me as she went back and forth with her employee insisting that she made this burrito already. I explained to her that I wasn’t saying she didn’t make it I just know that I never received it. Then I asked for the brownie that I paid for and she seemed confused that the burrito meal & deal comes with a dessert. This is on YOUR website!! You don’t know what your meals come with?!
