R&R West Indian Cuizine — Restaurant in New York

Walked in a Saturday morning. Been here a couple times before. Food is amazing and place is clean. A lot of offerings. This morning I noticed the price display off and preceded to order 2 small food. When the price came up to a crazy $36 so I inquired about the pricing and was told...red meats start at med/large container ...$15/$20 respectively with one side included. Understand we aren't told this as we were requesting what we wanted and the price display tv were off...hence the problem...do not overcharge your customer and get upset when they question the price. The solution would have been...moving my small meal of red meat and 2 veggies from the small container into the medium size container and charging for the ONE extra side I asked for... instead of trying to rip us off as if we couldn't understand the pricing structure once explained...problem solving and customer service is a learned skill...

I bought cow heel soup and they took like 8 minutes to get it "at the back" in the kitchen area. When I arrived home, the soup stank. It smelled horrible and the cow heel was very discolored. It tasted rotten. The soup itself was spoiled and the vegetables were mashed up. I will never recommend or buy from them again. I’m happy to have found this place. It’s clean and food is good. I’ve been there twice in a week and I got the same thing both times. The curry king fish with dhal and white rice. The food is delicious. Very well seasoned. The ginger beer is strong and hit the spot. I’m grateful to find a restaurant within walking distance that has good quality food. God bless the hands that...
