Roti Paradise — Restaurant in New York

I ordered food for pickup with Uber Eats. They confirmed the order and it said it would be ready in 20 minutes. Then 15 minutes later the store updates the order time to be ready in 1 hour. I was in the area already so I didn’t mind waiting and killing time, as long as it was ready within the hour. When I go in to pick up the food the cashier went to check on the status of the food and told me the food will be ready in 20 minutes. I got the vibe that they didn’t even start making my food yet. So I go back to wait in the car. After 30 minutes I come back to finally get the food, thinking it would be ready by then. Then the same cashier tells me straight up that my order was canceled. I didn’t get a notification that the order was canceled so it was really strange. So now I wasted 2 hours and have no food. I checked the app and the order wasn’t canceled, it showed up as complete, meaning the store lied and claimed I had received my food already, when I definitely did not. They were effectively taking my money without giving me any food. I had to contact Uber Eats to get the refund as the restaurant didn’t even have the decency to cancel the order properly. I always wanted to stop at this restaurant. I finally stop by to see if i can order a chicken rotti. When i ordered the chicken the counter girl had no idea how to prepare my chicken rotti. She started putting the chicken inside a container. I ask her if she knows how to make a chicken rotti wrap.She never answered she finally took a wrap only after i told her. She started putting chicken into the wrap. So i asked her can she add potatoes into it. There was a little bit of potatoes left hardly nothing. So i told her that i changed my mind about the chicken rotti. She was like miss i made it already. So i told her that i have a right to change my mind because it didn't look right because she really didnt know how to make a chicken rotti.So i ordered the rice with chicken. It could have been good if it wasn't for all that pepper they put into it. The chicken had a lot of bones not very meaty. The girls at the counter have no people skills. They need to put someone with more people skills and know how to take the customers order. I would not recommend this local...

I order Uber eats from Roti Paradise waited 45 minutes for the Uber to arrive. When the Uber came they deliver the wrong food so I called Roti Paradise To let them know what happened they said it wasn’t their fault which I understand so moments later I call To reorder the food the girl Who answered the phone said she would put the order back through for me NO CHARGE so I went to pick up the food when I got there that same girl that answered the phone said I have to pay for the food so in other words I am paying for the food twice and only getting it once . She called her manager to ask what to do and the manager is screaming on the phone that it is not their fault That customer has the repay. However, I am happy it happen this way because they have a B rating posted on the restaurant. If you mind about how clean the kitchen is where your food is prepare please don’t go there.
