After all of these years, food still remains with no absolute taste. Service is decent at the food register, staff are still unenthusiastic, the bar has always served strong enough drinks but the very unprofessional scamming bartender who was there on Friday September 5th needs to be given a refresher or retraining because he has typical yardii behavior, I asked for a Mango Margarita and he named off 3 different tequilas, Don J, Patrn and I don't recall the 3rd one so I'd be lying if I make up a name, however I fully recall asking him if the margaritas were made with top shelf tequilas now, the guy preceeded to say yes, I said waw nice ok. However, when he charged me, he said it was $17!! I said wth! He said yea u got such and such tequila," I shouted, but sir, I asked u! Did u give me the option of choosing a house tequila or notified me of the option in rates, he said oh well there's nothing I can do now and that's what pissed me off, led me to write a review, I don't like typing reviews, or being part of a community who have tarnishing tendencies or likes to sit behind these reciews complain, complain, and constantly complain 24/7 but ppl need to be awared, and I've had it with bad customer services in certain establishments and staff making it a habit because people do not speak up. I'm sure if the cameras are ran that day between 1320-1330, the situation I'm explaining will play out. However, I'm not ghetto so I didn't hesitate to pay. But, the issue should be addressed by management. Because giving someone the impression because you're attempting to upsell cause u perhaps you're under the impression one are not knowledgeable about the differences in alcohol or rates is just scamming behavior. Me and my friend went there with the intention of having 3 or 4 drinks each, but after that distasteful snag, we decided to eat the unseasoned food we had already ordered and quickly left to drink elsewhere. I do hope he's licensed or certified and not to...
Read moreI don’t know how this place can still be In service. I took my nieces and nephews here for Dinner on August 6, 2022, I’ve been here a few times quite a few years back but I remembered it being better. I’m reading some reviews and I honestly feel bad for some of you on here that said their food taste good, you all probably never left the Bronx or was drunk when you ate. This is what I have to say: 1.) You’ve done after all these years to make your customers visit any easier, cash only with ATMs that charge fees is very antiquated. 2.) You have 2 sections to order different foods, you have to join one line after the other. 3.) You get a text that good is ready but only some items on your order, you have to walk back and forth. 4.) Your staff taking orders have no enthusiasm and isn’t welcoming in any way, some of them seem drunk. 5.) Your outdoor eating looks like tables left out for trash, rusted with food stains all over and not cleaned at all. 6.) Not a place for kids or decent family setting…very loud and foul language in front of kids, with security walking around uselessly. 7.) Your food is complete trash, who wants food that has no seasoning? Stop ripping people off. 8.) everything about this place is just nasty, tasteless and overpriced, the manager is probably some random dude off the streets without any kind of business knowledge.
Plus: 1.) The view is okay by the water. 2.) The gentleman at the end of station 2 was very helpful to give to-go containers to take home my leftovers to give to the...

During a recent trip to New York, I had the pleasure of visiting Seafood City in City Island to celebrate my daughter's birthday, and it was a fantastic experience. The restaurant is spacious, with plenty of parking and seating available. The service was quick and efficient, and the prices were very reasonable, adding to the overall value of the meal.
We tried a variety of dishes, including raw oysters, fried lobster tails, broiled lobster tails with garlic pasta, Manhattan clam chowder, a cheeseburger with fries, chicken tenders, and fried shrimp. Everything was flavorful and cooked to perfection, except for the garlic pasta, which was a bit bland. Despite that, the quality of the other dishes made up for it.
One of the standout features of Seafood City is its family-friendly atmosphere, which includes a small arcade for children to enjoy. It’s a great touch that keeps kids entertained while waiting.
One thing to note is that Seafood City is cash-only, which can be inconvenient, though they do provide an on-site ATM (with a fee).
Overall, I highly recommend Seafood City for its excellent seafood, reasonable prices, and family-friendly environment. I’ll definitely stop by again when I’m...
