Fantastic breakfast spot with authentic Northeastern and Tianjin flavors! The restaurant is now under new management and has been recently renovated — everything feels clean, fresh, and inviting. It still has the same great taste I remember, just with a more modern and comfortable atmosphere.
They serve classic dishes like Roujiamo (肉夹馍), Tianjin-style steamed buns (天津包子), and crispy sugar fritters (糖油饼) and in house made soy milk — all freshly made and packed with flavor. You can really feel the family-owned warmth in both the food and the service. The vibe is cozy and welcoming.
They open early at 6 AM and close at 3 PM, making it a perfect spot for breakfast or brunch. The location is excellent, with plenty of street parking. Highly recommend — I’ll...
Read moreok place, I would say similar to many other places in Flushing. I read review then went ahead but reviews are not reliable at all---at least for this place it's a meh. the 9pcs/$9 Buns are in medium size, much smaller than the authentic one you can see in China, and they were hand made in rush, stuffed then wrapped the dough like a ball and that's it. Consider the high inflation in the states I can understand. Taste is ok, just ok, no surprise , won't let you...

This place is absolutely terrible. I ordered sweet soy milk, but it wasn’t sweet at all. The youtiao (fried dough) was like chewing wax, and the tofu pudding was as watery as soup. I asked for chili oil, but they didn’t give me any. Their attitude was awful. When I asked if they had red bean pastries, they pointed at them and said, “Aren’t they right there?” I grabbed one, only to find out it was a meat pastry. Unbelievable. How is this place still open? The experience was horrible beyond words. If you’re craving northern-style breakfast, just go to Sheng Jin on Main Street instead—so many delicious...
