I was so excited when Spice on a Slice opened up a few years ago because I feel like I live in a food desert when it comes to good takeout options. I’m vegetarian, so I’ve been happy to find some good options here. This place remains one of the only decent spots within walking distance, and I’m glad they’re still open and doing their thing. Their pizzas have tasty, unique Indian-inspired flavors that I’ve really enjoyed. Recently, I tried the Chaat Pie, The Desi Pie, and some Garlic Knots. The garlic knots were amazing, soft, garlicky, and just really good. The Desi Pie was solid, but the Chaat Pie didn’t quite work for me. It had too many competing flavors and was a bit too salty, which surprised me since I’m a big fan of chaat. I’ve also tried their regular cheese slice before, which has a nice flavor. I love anything spicy, so I really liked their Veggie Kicker Pie with ghost pepper marinara and peppers. My main complaint is that the pizza itself is really light and thin, so it doesn’t feel very filling. For the price, I wish it was a bit more substantial. I’ll also give props to their customer service. Everyone there has always been respectful and helpful, which makes the experience better. Overall, the food is flavorful with a cool Indian twist, and the staff is great. It just feels a little pricey for how light the pizzas are. Definitely worth trying if you want something different, just keep the portion size in mind and order up!

I've heard about this place serving Indian-style pizza but never got to try it until yesterday. I ordered a chicken Tikka pizza with added Chapli and ranch drizzle as well as some Marsala knots. The pizza itself smelled heavenly before I even opened the box, as you could smell all the spices from the meat. The pizza itself was delicious, better than I was expecting. The cheese seemed comparable to the cheese you'd get on a Dominos pizza but the meat toppings were delicious, well seasoned and tender. I'm a big fan of your typical NY pizzeria pizza but the pizza from this place was some of the best I've ever had. The Marsala knots came with marinara sauce and were pretty good as well, although I don't think I would've enjoyed it as much without the marinara sauce. Overall, the food was a hit and the prices really weren't too bad for what you got and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't thinking about that pizza all day today. As the Terminator once said, I'll be back.

This charming, family-owned gem has taken the beloved pizza concept and infused it with vibrant desi flavors that are nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment you step in, you’re greeted with a warm smile and a welcoming atmosphere that feels like home. The owners take immense pride in their craft, using only fresh and high qualify ingredients. Each pizza is very well put together and the concepts are well thought out. What truly sets Spice on a Slice apart is the exceptional customer service. The staff genuinely cares about your experience, taking the time to offer recommendations and ensuring you leave with a smile. They’re passionate about sharing their culture through food and it shows in every detail. Support this amazing family business and treat your taste buds to an unforgettable culinary experience. You won't regret it!

Hey! Thanks for asking me to come and pick up a fresh one for the mistake you made and then starting an argument about it. There was no need for that. It’s just a $10 pie.

By the way, I have left it at the bus stop for you.

Addition/ Response: I didn’t even complained about the food—you brought it up yourself. I simply mentioned it had an unusual odor and taste, likely from old or excessive oil, making it impossible to eat. I called only to inform you for future reference. I didn’t leave a review or request a refund, even though I had to throw it out.

You were the one who asked me to come back for two new pies—I never asked for anything. Since I was passing by, I called, and you told me to pick them up. But when I arrived, your boss or father started questioning me unnecessarily, making me uncomfortable. Was I not clear on the call?

Even then, I said if you didn’t believe me, I wouldn’t take them, yet you were still aggressive, rude, and unprofessional. If you lack basic manners, it’s best not to be in...
