Starbucks — Restaurant in New York

This was my first time here and was just driving by from the Brooklyn half marathon! A group of 4 of us went inside for purchases which went smoothly with no issues. While waiting for our purchases, we had to use their restroom and inquired about the code being no paper receipt was given or offered after purchase. A young lady told me and pointed to the young lady making the coffee that she would have to “let me in”, I said ok and waited, after 5 mins of waiting the young lady was still making the coffee and ignored the fact that “paying customers were waiting at this point 10 mins” to use the restroom and couldn’t due to they refuse to give out the code. I get it, the neighborhood is not so great but don’t penalize your paying customers. I had to ask again and I refused to get “crazy” and maintained my professionalism but I had to demand if someone can please let us use the restroom at this point it was way beyond 10 mins which is ridiculous in today’s age. I know this world has lost all its empathy for mankind but let’s use some common sense. We finally had a young lady, “impatiently” open the door so we can use the restroom LOL. I will never visit this Starbucks again. The staff did look very young but that’s still no excuse for the “bathroom policy”, I don’t know if that policy goes for “all” people but it really needs some changing if you’re a paying customer like the other Starbucks with the code on...

This review is mainly about the experience I had regarding this location’s service. Whenever I visit New York, I’m use to common to anticipate poor service , especially in a drive thru. Fortunately today that wasn’t the case, Janae was very pleasant and polite while taking our order. There was a lil bit of a mix up regarding milk that wasn’t really a big deal at all but she kindly corrected it with no issues, with a smile which says a lot about the establishment’s training as well as her character. I loveeeee this starbucks location and all its staff. No other location does my drink with consideration, care and regard as they do. Emily is one of the best there, ask for her. Her amazing work ethic, customer services skills and always pleasant attitude is a great reflection of Starbucks. Add Ciara making the drinks as well and they are both a good combination.
