Sweeney's Grocery Deli & Kitchen — Restaurant in New York

Overall, this place is kind of sad. Shelves are almost bare, candy displays are almost always empty. The hot food served is really tasty, but that's pretty much the only convenience this "convenience" store provides. You have to specifically ask for milk from an employee because it isn't in the fridges. The liquor is always stocked up, though, and that seems to be a reflection of the neighborhood rather than the business: they renew and stock up on what sells quickly...

Don't be fooled by the old pic of bugs in the spaghetti box because it was a different owner!! The family that owns it now are FANTASTIC!!! The food is fresh & so good, from sandwiches to warm home cooked Spanish food! You can't go wrong! Come check it out, you won't...

Out with old and in with the new. The old Sweeneys was dirty and dingy. The new Sweeneys with different owners has delicious hot and cold food. Plus the place is clean. Shop local and support owners that take pride in the shop. What a nice...
