As always on a late lunch date with my husband on a Friday evening! We unexpectedly stopped by to enjoy some sushi. We decided to dine in since the weather was cold and no other person was inside either. I have to say the host was very warm and welcoming to us. He made us feel very comfortable and took every possible measure to maintain 6ft distance from us when taking our order and serving our meals. We ordered a soft crab shell which was a great starter because we were hungry. We shared this hot appetizer amongst us two. Then came our 2 special rolls, which were the “Amazing Roll” and the second one was “Special Kaye Roll”! Both were freshly made and the taste was to its perfection. We enjoyed these rolls with eel sauce! My husband enjoyed sparkling water and I enjoyed their Japanese home made tea. The tea was nicely hot and went perfect with our sushi rolls. I am a tea lover and rarely enjoy outside home teas but their tea was really great in taste.no desserts for us. We were full with all this food. A must go SUSHI SPOT FOR ANY ONE LOOKING TO enjoy A QUIET PLACE WITH GREAT TASTE AND FRESHLY MADE 🍣 sushi!

Sushi in Sunnyside Gardens After trying a few places in Queens these past 8 months, I found a little gem TJ Asian - 50th & Skillman In case you didn’t notice lol I loveee Salmon ! It was very fresh. Miso soup came with my salmon platter, even on a hot summer day I still enjoed… I LOVE Agedashi dōfu, it was perfectly made and paired with a not to salty sauce. Dessert was also delicious, I had the fried banana with red bean ice cream.. THE POUR - PLUM WINE The only issue I had was my waitress for got me . I had to ask other wait staff for water, dessert and my bill and never asked if I wanted anything else.

Best sushi spot in Queens area. Been living in Sunnyside for the past 6years and i come here pretty often. It is a small place indeed, but very personable and intimate. Large menu with great variety of rolls, soups, appetizers, small bites. Lunch and dinner served over there. Everything is fresh all the time.Service is quite fast, the staff can be a bit pushy sometimes- but overall great experience. Among my fav: Kani salad, Tom Kha soup, Dragon rolls, Hidden Mango Rolls, the spring rolls. Trying something new each time. Truly love it!

Edit: I posted this, and the manager decided to call me! Which is so unprofessional!! actually am sitting here shocked like "did that actually just happen?" Will be doing both parties a favor and won't be ordering again. I don't want to be disrespected or harassed. He said he was trying to apologize, while simultaneously trying to go back and forth like he always does.

I have ordered from here many times in the last two years. It's probably my fave sushi spot in the neighborhood. My issue is the manager. He is so rude, condescending, and combative. Out of the probably 40 times I've ordered, I have only had an issue twice. Which is honestly a great track record. My issue is how awful the manager is at dealing with issues. He is beyond rude, and I can assure you if I was a man on the phone he wouldn't be talking to me like a piece of garbage. I had an issue once and was told I would get credit, after an unnecessary back and forth with the manager, he let us know it would be on our file and whoever answers will be able to see it on our account. Well..next time we order the person on the phone has no idea what I am talking about. No big deal, and we order anyways. Today I call and say the fish we received is off (same thing I order always) and the manager lets us know we can get a credit and they will leave a note on the account. I bring up how I was told that last time, and wanted to double check it would actually be put on there this time. He gets upset and assumes I'm wanting the credit from last time ??? When I was just wanting to clarify it wouldn't be an issue this time. I would understand if I was coming off rude, but I wasn't at all. I love this local spot and would like to keep coming, WHICH IS WHAT I ALWAYS tell him. I don't know what Karen traumatized this man, but he doesn't need to shut down and get confrontational when something isn't right...

A friend and I met here for lunch and had a great time. We found street parking with no issues. However, I could see parking being an issue during busy hours. The staff were amazing, very attentive, and welcoming. I was shocked at how busy it was around 1:30pm, which was a good sign that the food was good.

They have an extensive Asian/sushi menu, including a separate lunch special menu. We both ordered the lunch special that included a soup, small salad and option of meat, rice, and a sushi/California roll. I don't eat seafood, so I ordered the cucumber roll, and my friend had the avocado roll. This was my first time eating three cucumber rolls, and surprisingly, it was tasty. I enjoyed my entire meal, and it was fulfilling. I was able to take a small to go bag of my rice and teriyaki chicken. My friend ate all of hers and we were both satisfied with our meal and the service. We both enjoyed our refills of the hot tea throughout our meal, and you had the option of water as well.

This is definitely a cool spot to check out, and I would definitely return to check out some...
