3 Strikes and you're out. I'm done with Tropical Smoothie Cafe for good. I will also be mailing a physical letter to Corperate about this location and hitting them up on Social media. My first bad experience at this location was about a year ago maybe when only 1 staff member was working early morning and I didn't even recieve my order because it was about an 1hr wait and I would have been late to work so I left. I spent $14, did Mobile order Pick up way ahead of time, just not to get my order and I sent in a complaint and they gave me a $10 Gift card in response I didn't care to use. My second bad experience highlighted staff being slow, no sense or urgency, doing things that make no sense, ignoring Customer pick up area, delays again when they had multiple staff this time on he early morning shift 7am-8am again.
Well, this is the third bad experience and I'm done. Whole new staff line up, same problems. It seems their turn-over is bad here, I took a break buying Breakfast from them then came back lunch time only, it was a better but not top-notch, I NEVER have issues at Starbucks or Chick Fil A in 10 years plus of going, real minor stuff and the staff are always so nice and make up for it. I've only been going to Tropico for like a year or so, I saw this location Open up during the Grand Opening and went to try them out, it's very dissapointing.
Today, I ordered on the Mobile app at 7:06am, Estimated pick up is 7:16am. I get to the store at around 7:25am. Why didn't I get more order till 7:46am? there were 2 Staff doing Smoothies, 1 doing orders and hanging the bags out, and 1 in the back cooking. Like what is going on here? All of the staff were acting oblivious to pick up customers, only 1 contacted us and she didn't explain anything and just kept us waiting after asking for the names of the pick ups, there was ZERO sense of urgency. The food I had was just being made around 7:35 when I ordered at 7:06am, they took about 8 walk in orders before making my smoothie and I had to ask the girl what's taking so long AFTER I told her I was here for a pick up over 10 mins prior and her response was "We're just waiting on the smoothie"
HELLO?!?!? is anybody home. The 2 staff on Smoothie's made 8-10 Walk in smoothie orders while I was waiting for my pick up one. She went and did the smoothie herself after I asked what's taking so long. Like what kind of service is this? it's beyond bad, unprofessional. Effeciency and good service with some level of speed are MANDATORY not optional. 2 more staff came to work while I was waiting and not 1 of them contacted pick up Customers and the girl (Glasses, Petite) was just wondering around back and fourth for a bit vs diving in and doing anything at all. She was not making food, she was not stocking, she was not making any drinks, NOTHING. Totally different, new staff, still bad service.
And some people hired at this location just look bad. You walk in Chick Fil A, bright smiles or chill demeanor but pleasant and work ready, uniforms clean, nice presentation. You walk in Tropico, pants sagging, some women hair not done, uniforms not fitting right, nobody smiling it's just somber in there and some of them just don't look clean and upkept. Corporate needs to come down and investigate this location to improve it, or close it. I'm done, I don't want no gift cards, no apologies, nothing. And I'm not recommending this...

One employee was making a smoothie one was at the register but not taking orders apparently because when I stepped forward to order he walked away. Another employee was talking to a customer at order pick up. All 3 employees were behind the counter. But no one seemed to care about the customers at the register trying to order.
