I'll give three stars because my gripe with this place is not the food really. My problem is the execution of communication. Now, understand this is a Dominican restaurant and they speak Spanish. However, the person who took my order over the phone spoke fluent English. I ordered an order of fried chicken cutlets, yellow rice beans on the side. I also ordered two separate orders of pernil with yellow rice and pigeon peas, all I asked was that they put the rice and meat in separate containers. I ordered six empenadas and a chicken noodle soup(I didn't know there were two different sizes and they automatically charged me for a large). We also ordered a bottle of 20 oz pepsi. They charged me $41, My food didnt arrive for an hour and a half after I called and I was missing half the order and the chicken and empenadas were a little on the burnt side. It took me fifteen minutes to get ahold of the restaurant and when I finally did, he said he only charged me for what I received. I had to reorder what was missing, wait another 20 minutes for the food to arrive, still missing things and had to pay another $12. Read moreI ordered for delivery pork/Pernil and fried plantains, well plantains were super soft not well done like I ordered and the pork was super oily like one cup of oil was dumped in it couldn't eat much bc of the oil. I asked for one small piece of pork skin with the pork and they gave me so much of it was ridiculous, with so much fat inside, on top of that wasn't even cooked well.. garbage!! never again ...to add to this Restaurant's performance the Lady that answers when you order has a nasty attitude. She puts me on hold for a long time without telling me anything, while on another line not realizing that I was hearing her conversation just yapping away, the yapping didn't even had to do with orders, then I hung up call again and told her she had me on the line on hold but I was still hearing the conversation. She didn't even apologize for forgetting about me or putting me on hold for so long. All she said this place is very busy today, then she puts me on hold again.
