Las dos mixtecas — Restaurant in New York

My husband and I ate here tonight. We werr offered free chips (Totopos) and fresh salsa to start. We ordered the Guacamole de la casa, 3 tacos each: the tortillas were fresh! we had the chorizo, carnitas and barbacoa the cochinita pibil( pork meat seasoned with spices and sweet pepper seasoning ) and the tripe tacos. My husband liked them all. The cochinita meat was a bit tough for me, but fresh and nicely seasoned nevertheless. The tripe was fried and I did not like it for that reason. they should make it grilled and soft and moist. The service was awesome. They take great pride in the cleaning of the place and have a grade A posted on the gront window. VERY HARD TO ACHIEVE. We will be back to try the fajitas next. We like good and authentic...
