UMI TEA Fried Chicken & Sushi — Restaurant in New York

The consumption experience in this milk tea shop was extremely bad and I was very disappointed. I just wanted to buy a cup of milk tea to relax, but I didn't expect that I became more irritated because of the attitude of the front desk clerk.

When I walked into the store, it was not busy. I was the only customer waiting for the order. But I stood in front of the order counter for five minutes, but the clerk never paid attention to me. He didn't even look at me or say "please wait a moment". Instead, he was indifferent and ignored me. During this period, she lowered her head to play with her mobile phone or chatted with her colleagues, completely ignoring my existence. This service attitude is really unacceptable.

When I finally plucked up the courage to take the initiative to order, the other party's tone was extremely impatient, as if I was disturbing her. There was no welcome word or any basic polite language throughout the process, which made me feel as if I was asking for milk tea, not a customer who spent money.

The most basic thing in the service industry is respect and politeness, but I didn't feel it at all in this store. I didn't come to ask for help, I came to consume. Such behavior of neglecting customers and having no sense of service is really infuriating. If it is a problem of the quality of individual store employees, I hope the store will strengthen training as soon as possible; if this is the general service attitude of the store, then I think this store is not far from closing.

I will not come here a second time, nor will I recommend friends to patronize this milk tea shop. I hope other consumers will learn from this and not waste their time and mood on such stores with extremely poor...

I ordered through Uber Eats, so I didn’t visit the place in person, but what I received was a total waste of money.

The strawberry purée milk was mostly milk with barely any strawberry flavor—it just tasted like syrup. I added strawberry boba, which ended up having an artificial aftertaste. The brown sugar boba was rock-hard, making it nearly impossible to enjoy.

Worst of all, the crème brûlée arrived completely frozen. I had to wait for it to thaw, and when it did, there was a pool of water from it coming to room temperature. I know brûlée is supposed to have a caramelized top, but this just tasted like burnt paper. Definitely not ordering...

Me and my boyfriend went here after going to the garden, and I got brown sugar milk tea while he got honey garlic wings and onion rings, after we got back home we both realized something was up with our stomachs but went to sleep. This morning I've been feeling nauseous & just terrible like I couldn't do anything until I finally let something out then when I finally threw up, I tasted the Boba from yesterday & then finally felt fine, while my boyfriend kept having very bad diarrhea. Other than that...
