I went to Wendy's on September 25 at approximately 4 pm. I went in the drive-thru and there was a plastic bag covering the speaker to order. So we went to the next window where a gentleman told us to proceed to the next window so we could order. When we got to the next window we told them that we didn't order because the speaker was covered with the plastic bag and we thought it was broken since it was broken earlier on last week. The lady with a hijab said you skip the line. I decided to leave and enter the store instead. There I ordered my meal and asked for a manager. Another lady with a hijab called a manager and was asking random workers if the could speak to me because I wanted to speak to a manager. At this point, another lady with a hijab came and said I am no manager. In the background you could hear someone saying I don't feel like talking to anyone. Many of the workers started to laugh about me wanting to speak to a manager. Finally, another lady with a hijab comes to speak to me. I mentioned the situation. She said sorry about that we put a plastic because the speaker will stop working. No other restaurant covers up the speaker with plastic bag. I told her they should have a sign saying that it is working because no one could hear anything. This Wendy's is run by unprofessional workers that clearly need to be retrained. The sad part is that none of the workers are young and should know better on how to speak to people, especially paying customers. I will not be returning to this Wendys. I will go further away to purchase any food or better yet, to Mcdonalds...
Read moreThis location is simply horrible. Its a franchise follow the rules and you will be successful. Upon arrival through the drive-thru I sat there for what felt like 30 seconds to a minute and then proceeded to say hello when the Personnel that responded answered and said hold on one minute. Once I place my order there was an upcharge that I was not told about and I decline the upcharge and chose a different drink. Normally if there's a upcharge to a meal they notify you. However not at this location. Normally if there's an an up charge to a meal they notify you however not at this location. I asked to split payment between a card and cash however the Personnel at the drive-thru didn't know how to receive this type of transaction. After waiting 2 minutes for him to figure it out I pulled to the following window. At the second window they gave me my order without a straw. The drink did not have the cap fully on so the iced tea spilled in the car. I never leave reviews good or bad but this location has horrible management. While waiting at the window I saw a Personnel drinking and eating in the kitchen. They keep switching management at this location and it's getting worse and worse the franchise owner needs to be notified before this...
Read moreSo I've never been to a Wendy's with a security guard, let alone a security guard at 12 in the afternoon. I assume the have a problem with local higschool kids in the area. But that's just me assuming. My co-workers and I went in for lunch. 3 of us were ordering food and the other 3 were just there for the company(they weren't hungry). The 3 that weren't eating take seats AT ONE TABLE while we go and get our food. While they are seated the security guard comes up to them and tells them they can not sit if they are not buying anything.
What?
They let him know that they were waiting for us and we were purchasing meals.... This still appears to be a problem. So one actually gets up and buys something small. But the other 2 leave because he is making it an unneeded issue. The place want crowded, and there were empty seats throughout the place.
Either the next day or 2 days later we decide to go back. Same security guard, so everyone buys something. But while we are there are group of about 6-8 teenage girls come into the Wendy's and scatter themselves to about 4 different tables. They were pretty loud, and it seemed that they weren't there to buy food . But the same security guard that made an issue with 3 grown men trying to accompany their coworkers while they ate, had no issue with the young loud girls who weren't buying anything. And that's probably because he knew them. He referred to a few by name and they laughed and...
