Aishah is Very strict on card payment , particularly for delivery .
1.To prevent fraud account used on phone when ordering , you have to show cardholder I'd and physical card to driver . Driver has to imprint all info down the blue slip every SINGLE time . Remember, MOBILE CARD or card PHOTO is absolutely NOT ACCEPTED. If you have no actual card present , your order will be cancelled and $will be refunded as soon order is brought back by driver .
SECOND REASON FOR ORDER CANCELLED is FLAT CARD : if your digit is flat -not bubbled RAISED UP , then driver can't imprint #down . UNLESS YOU ALLOW DRIVER TO TAKE PHOTO OF YOUR CARD AND ID.
3RD reason , PLEASE DO NOT SHOW A DIFF CARD TO DRIVER, FROM THE CARD GIVEN ON PHONE .
IF you decide to pay by card instead of cash , PLEASE CALL RIGHT BACK BEFORE ORDER IS SENT OUT . Otherwise , it will delay delivery timing or may cause order cancelled ,because driver is not allowed to issue you order without card transaction receipt signed or imprinted . 5.online order card payment , we dont process transaction electronically . you enter card # cvv code and zip code online , then we'll process it manually as soon as we receive order . SAME RULE WILL APPLY --physical card & cardholder I'd is required for imprint when driver get there . Read moreThe menu has a large option of food that is always fresh and absolutely amazing, The pick-up experience is great. They have a a very extensive list of specials. It is always hard to choose.
With that being said, the delivery experience is something to prepare for. I have NEVER had an issue with the timing of my delivery. It is always prompt and fresh.
However, the driver does not deliver to the door whether you live in a house, apartment building or are in an office. You have to come outside with the card you used and photo ID to get your food from the passenger window. Whether it is 19 degrees, 75 degrees or 95 degrees. This is actually fine especially when you already know the procedure when calling. However, there is a $3 delivery fee. For what? To have to walk outside to the car to get the food myself on the coldest day we have had so far this winter? Maybe there is a safety concern. In that case, is the safety of the customer not as much of a concern? Additionally, as I was walking away the driver said "tip. Which was already done with the card (that they charge you $1 to use). But even if I chose not to tip, how dare he mention it when he did nothing but pass me my food through the window? It is completely uncouth and out of line not to tip but it is just as bad to ask.
I like the restaurant but as a person who is big on customer service, the delivery process rubs me the wrong way. Therefore, I refrain from ordering at home and only place orders when my coworkers...
Read moreWe went there and sat down to eat. We thought we would try something first to see how the food tastes and perhaps order more food for carryout before we leave. I was surprised to see that the owner lady was angry because we just ordered one food. Explicitly told us, and I quote -" I just turned on the AC for you guys??!" Implying that why didn't we ordered more food and spend more money, because she turned on the AC and we are dining in!! Something so bizarre that I have never experienced from a restaurant before. It's hot summer outside, so you would want to sit inside with your two little kids and family regardless of how much money you're spending. If restaurant is not ready for dine in or spending money on electric bill, just make everything for take out! Problem solved. It was an insulting experience, to be honest, and we immediately left the dining room. It hurts more because I specifically went there to support a Muslim franchise, who is serving Chinese halal food, which is very rare in USA, but their behavior was completely out of the line. We ended up taking out the food and eating in our car. Fried rice isn't great, chicken...
