Dunkin' — Restaurant in Newark

If you overlook the panhandling within the store, the lack of seating and the underpaid staff at this location, this store would still demand to be rated negative stars for being a willing participant in a racketeering scam. They are paying a "security officer" to sit in their lot and place $200 boots on vehicles if you so much as lean your head outside the fence surrounding it. They even have an ATM inside only to cater to this "convenience". The signage indicating this "law" is small and awkwardly placed around the property with plenty of blind spots as to meet the bare minimum requirement. This is the first restaurant I have seen that would only be improved by simply letting the building housing it fall to ruin. To the franchisee reading this account of a doomed doughnut stop, know that your efforts to maintain a modicum of food service are in vain and your location is nothing but a glorified parking lot existing only to further drive the surrounding communities further...

I went to this place, bought a coffee and donuts, and crossed the street to drop off my child who was in the hospital. It took me 15 minutes. I asked them if I could leave my car there and came back. They already put a chain and lock on it and charged 200 dollars for what I asked them as a favor. Terrible service. Don't go there because they are not friendly at all. They take advantage of an emergency. They don't even know how to get money. They should be more sensitive in an emergency. The owners should ask for the receipt and see that we are customers. Don't waste your money. There are other coffee shops there that do know how to respect...

I had stopped by this Dunkin Donuts about 9:15 am on 10/2. There was a very very long line of 10+ people with only 2 employee visible. When entering the bathroom it was " Nasty" , first they only had one bathroom the other had sign saying private. The only bathroom was dirty , had a trash bag covering the urinal and the worst thing is they had " No Soap". I asked for Mgr and insisted he place more soap as I waited 10 min he couldn't find any, how can employees wash their hands which is mandated by state Heath law let...
