University Hospital Cafeteria - The Garden Cafe/Bistro — Restaurant in Newark

This place is not only OVERPRICED but also has TASTELESS food. Not worth at all! Don’t waste your time. Go somewhere else! Bland pizza and horrible smoothies not worth the $8 something dollars I paid for just 1 smoothie. Staff is always cursing and fooling around like it’s a big party at work meanwhile you have to wait 30 something minutes for your food to be ready. Most importantly, be aware of your bank account and fishy charges after paying with your card there. I had to cancel my card after I got 5 suspicious charges over a period of 5 minutes via Apple Pay when I wasn’t even near that place at that moment. When I called my bank I asked if those charges are old purchases just being processed that day and he say “no, those charges are from today” someone tried some scam. I only got funny charges from the bistro that day . Later that week I found out I wasn’t the only one who had the same issue with the bistro. Shop at your own risk!...

Let’s start with the good the food is pretty decent and they are fast…. Now let’s go into why we are here the service is absolutely HORRIBLE the RUDE resting B face and rolling of eyes is soooo unnecessary from Ms Keisha C who takes your Order!!! Customer Service is zero. People working here never polite or pleasant. No, how may I help you or simple Thank you. Always with an attitude especially on weekends. Crispy Caesar Salad is mediocre . Ordered chocolate croissant today which was stale and hard. Asked cashier to switch to chocolate chip muffin instead. Didn't say sorry about that, we'll look into it so that no one else can get hard croissants. She instead took my croissant in bag and just threw in garbage with attitude.
