El Fogón Bar and Restaurant — Restaurant in Newark

Everyone need to stop going to this place. The owner there loves changing the prices of her drinks even to her regulars. She recently hosted a Halloween Party and her prizes were 1st place $300, 2nd 200 and 3rd was bottle special. There were a good amount of people dressed and she didn’t choose to “pick a winner” because there weren’t that many people there. That makes no sense. These people showed up dressed to your event in hopes to win and she did absolutely nothing. She has many regulars who spend LOTS of money there but seems to just cater to her own people. One day her beers are 5 the next is 9 same for the mix drinks. I really hope people stop going there and let her drown...

I like the flavor but will absolutely not order from here again. After spending $50+ on two of the same dish (Bandera Serrana), they have the audacity to make it 90% rice with 2 pieces of goat meat in the stew and the guatita was 90% potatoes.

Honestly as a first time customer, I feel betrayed by this resturant.

It's unfortunate becauseI think the chef has skills and they did a good job with the flavor and preparation of the guatita, goat stew and the ceviche but unfortunately it seems they will take your money and do their best to skim what makes this dish special.

If you love Ecuadorian food, there's places where you'll get better value...

I've asked for a casa amigos on the rocks. They gave 1oz of and charged me $18. I've been bartending myself for 5 years and I've never seen anything like that. Not even in the city I've been charged $18 for a once of casa amigos, COME ON. Also that place is filthy, there's flies all over. Horrible! Horrible. Never come back to that...
