Heaven's Delite — Restaurant in Newark

Almost every Newark native knows about this place , they've been around for at least 20-30 years .. and they are still standing ! I enjoy coming here for a good cup of soup when it's chilly outside. No frills and straight to the point. They used to do fried turkey wings but have stated they are NO longer going to offer those anymore. The customer service is great and quick but the line gets a little backed up from time to time so come early ! The average price is about $8 for a small and double that for a quart of soup, they do accept card payments now as well.

My issue is that the noodles from the chicken noodle soup have been extremely mushy lately so I laid off the soup for a few weeks and went back today and mushy noodles again :( will try again in...

DELICIOUS EVERYTIME! With the amount years this Gem has been around I'm surprised they don't have a MILLION AMAZING 5 STAR REVIEWS. I'm an old school customer since the fried turkey wings day. :-). (Wish they brought that back!)The soups are made with love that will truly warm the soul literally and Figuratively. I was in town and had to make my way there. So glad to see them still around! The winter has been very mild so I haven't consumed a lot of soup this season. But I was really interested in a good cup of soup. A friend recommended this place so I decided to give it a try. I ordered the large cream of broccoli soup $8 and it was delicious so I will definitely going back to try others. However, I wish they offered more vegetarian options for non-meat eaters. Overall, great place for soup...
