Jersey Fried Chicken — Restaurant in Newark

I run to Newark 2-4 times a week from Elmira NY 452 miles round trip, if wife is with me she always wants 10 sliders from White Castle which is next door, I spotted the insane amount of traffic and told her this place is a must try for chicken, Christmas eve we bought a 10 piece chicken for the ride home we both thought it was Excellent, we will grab chicken here everytime we run to White Castle for sure. The interior wasn't what you would call home it was a tad rough and worn however I am here for take out chicken not how nice the flooring is. Service was fast and our order was spot on no issues. There is decent room for parking a car in lot not an 18 wheeler, I parked across the street, pretty easy to do a flip on Elizabeth to get back on 78. I remember going here during day time back in 2018, must of been a different owner or management. However i ordered a "Double Italian Turkey burger" and the sandwich was pretty good, had some weight, it was juicy, bread was fresh and the patties where thick. I decided to to go here 6/16/2025 7 years later around night time to order the same sandwich thinking I would receive the same quality man when he handed me my $10 bagged order it the weight of the bag felt like two bags of chips instead of a sandwich I knew then I had Fd up THE BOTTOM LINE IS I DONT RECOMEND NO ITALIAN CHEESE BURGER SANDWICHES FROM "JERSEY FRIED", everything was "stale" or "old" bread stale fries weren't fresh but over all it wasn't a Italian Turkey burger it was a "Jersey fried burger" cause they did what they want (POOR QUALITY FOOD) Never...

Week they had large chicken bucket options with biscuits, read refugees before i went there. People compared too kfc but better.I TOTALLY DISAGREE....... THE BISCUITS WERE COLD DINNER ROLLS THAT THEY GAVE ME IN THE PLASTIC LIKE U BUT A LOAF OF BREAD. CHICKEN WAS GOOD JUST KINDA BLAND...BUTT NO LARGE SIDE ITEMS OTTER THAN PLAIN POTATOE WEDGES...... WON'T RETURN,SPENT30$ AND HONESTLY WANTED TO RETURN IT FOR MY MONEY.BUT JUST DENT WITH IT. EVEN MY5 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER DIDN'T EAT HER"BISCUIT" I SAID "WHY".
