Maria's Sweet Deli — Restaurant in Newark

Horrible experience!! I called to make a couple of orders for my coworkers to be delivered and the person taking the orders didnt understand the order. The 1st order was an omelet with onions, peppers, tomatoes, mushrooms and cheese. The second order was grits with cheese and 3rd order of cheese grits with scramble egg and cheese and turkey bacon as a platter. I asked for prices and they were charging me 6.00 for a veggie omelet by its self (which i didnt order) and the omelet with the ingredients that I mentioned before. I started to explain to the person on the other and of the phone that it wasnt correct and it seemed they slammed the phone on their counter and was yelling at a different person and told them to get on the phone to take the order right so im getting upset because this is happening and 30 minutes already passed and they had to take my order again but the coworkers were upset that these people were being unprofessional and started to cancel their orders. They are so inconsistent. One day the food is good, the next day it’s garbage. But, the customer service is descent so I don’t know. You’ll have to experience it for yourself. Really bad service. When you ask them to take your order they get messy with the customers and give your orders to other customers.
