Master Cafe — Restaurant in Newark

I wish I could review the food, sadly I never got to taste it. I went for my lunch break after telling all my co workers how excited I was to try their lemonade and their pupusa. And that is what I ordered I waited over 20 mins and had to leave before I lost my job over a pupusa, if you have time to wait for the food I guess this is a viable option but pupusa and already made lemonade shouldn’t take so long. I ended up with no lunch and I felt ignored because the other customers were being waited on, I had my card and a tip in my hand but just walked out after 22 minutes of waiting and getting no service not even the lemonade was served to me. Maybe it’s because I speak very little Spanish, cause the Spanish family at the table got their drinks an I never got mine and I ordered 10-15 minutes before them. I recommend skipping this place and going to the bodega up the block for Spanish food and natural juice.

Ojalá pudiera revisar la comida, lamentablemente nunca pude probarla. Fui a almorzar después de decirle a todos mis compañeros de trabajo lo emocionado que estaba de probar su limonada y su pupusa. Y eso es lo que pedí, esperé más de 20 minutos y tuve que irme antes de perder mi trabajo por una pupusa, si tienes tiempo para esperar la comida, supongo que esta es una opción viable, pero la pupusa y la limonada ya hecha no deberían tardar tanto. Terminé sin almuerzo y me sentí ignorado porque estaban esperando a los otros clientes, tenía mi tarjeta y una propina en la mano, pero salí después de 22 minutos de espera y sin recibir servicio, ni siquiera me sirvieron la limonada. Tal vez sea porque hablo muy poco español, porque la familia española en la mesa recibió sus bebidas y yo nunca conseguí las mías y pedí 10-15 minutos antes que ellos. The staff speak Spanish, but I was able to communicate what I wanted anyways in English. The staff were patient and helpful! They take cash and card there.

Got the Churrasco Mexto and limonada drink. There was a lot in the meal (2 pieces of chicken, 1 piece of steak, rice, salad, and fries) which makes it very good value for the price. The modern interior of this cafe is pleasant and welcoming. I enjoyed the coffee there. I'm glad I stopped in this place that morning because I needed a coffee.
