After 12 1/2 hrs at hospital was excited trying this place for first time that I scheduled delivery for right after work. Get home got my food delivered by Manuel, 2 tiny bags, this place missed 1 of my orders COMPLETELY. Spoke to Manuel then I called restaurant told lady who picked up they delivered 2 seafood cocktails (ceviches mixtos), and I didn’t receive the Crab meat with a side of rice, plantains and salad (cangrejo con arroz, platanos y ensalada). Manuel told me there was a language barrier as driver didn’t speak Spanish and lady didn’t speak English which is NOT my problem. Yet, I still tried to politely solve their miscommunication issue. She kept telling me that she thought Manuel asked for 2 seafood cocktails because she told him they didn’t have the 2nd part of my order request which was the Crab meat combo. What her exact words were “YOU SHOULD CALL NEXT TIME TO AVOID THIS, BECAUSE THATS NOT MY FAULT AND I CANT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT”. Then why have your restaurant on GRUBHUB?! Which is where I ordered with. And it’s America English is crucial, she should’ve gotten herself help. Last but not least, as a restaurant who prides itself in professionalism IF THERE IS NO MORE OF SUCH THINGS LIKE CRAB MEAT, IT IS THE RESTAURANTS RESPONSIBILITY TO CALL THE COSTUMER AND ADVISE THEM AND ASK IF THEY WANT A REFUND OR TO ADD/CHANGE ORDER. Had a unpleasant experience. Arrived at a dirty table. Our beverages took forever to arrive. Then we get told they no longer have those drinks. I noticed yes they still do but obviously they didn't look well. Our meal came out. Plates were & silverware was thrown at our table! I asked for ketchup & napkins. Waitress gave me ketchup but quickly took it away & gave us one napkin each. One lemon & one small container of hot sauce was given. Our waitress was missing. We wanted more lemon, hot sauce & more ketchup, so the waitress just gave us the bill & walked away. They charged us a $5.00 service charge & stated no tip is included. My family and I had a horrible experience & we paid the bill in a credit card. They did not provide a pen to sign for it. I paid the bill & did not provide a tip. Food is great. But the SERVICE is what's bad. Had to ask for Ginger Ale that is in the fridge. Waitress says we are out of Ginger Ale without looking at the fridge I just looked at. But I'm staring at it from table. Whatever. Asked for Ketchup and was given to me then had to share the 1 Ketchup bottle back and forth with 3 other tables.
