Justins BBQ — Restaurant in Newark

Looks can be deceiving, lol. While it looks decent upon arrival, once you share it up and taste it you can see it’s not really worth having. Everything has absolutely no flavor. The fries I asked for crispy but it tasted like old fries that were put back in the grease (I used to cook). The veggies were alright and looked like they had some seasoning on them but nope, not a drop of flavor. Please make use of that lemon and grab some garlic and salt folks.

The main part…the salmon had a nice color on it but it was SUPER DRY and on top of that, for a large order you’re supposed to get two salmon steaks but you don’t. You get one that’s halved. It’s SUPER THIN and that’s why it’s all dry and burnt tasting even though I think the fish was old too.

Not a good meal but you won’t starve. I was hoping it wasn’t that bad, lol. I’ve had much better and if I wasn’t injured, I would’ve headed to Burnett bbq right around the corner from me. Disappointing. I gave it two stars for the presentation and the fast delivery. But not quite...

Omg foooood was disgusting I’m surprised it has so man many high ratings let me start by saying I order the steak and shrimp and a side order of pork ribs the driver delivered the wrong order hands me two huge trays of chicken I go upstairs wrong food and then he gives me the right order takes the food I touched already to redeliver it somewhere else my steak was chewy and shrimps we’re tiny chocolate chip size like so nasty and the sauce and green pepper were old ribs burnt no flavor horrible I burped the food for 3 days I smelled like rotten meat I only taste a little plate and through it out to the trash wouldn’t even feed it to the stray animals was scared they will get sick and I love animals I no there gross because I ordered this at 12:00 in the morning the food shoulda been fresh it was last nights garbage and let’s not mention I have autism and the driver shorten me 15$ I didn’t notice it till it was to late but...

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE PLACE! If i could rate a zero I would! Do not order delivery! I order through Uber Eats and the gave me a completely different order. Their excuse? Oh it was Uber Eats fault, I explained that it wasnt because the order had my name and my order written in the bag but the food was wrong. I called and they told me to please exchange it but their answer "oh we dont deliver there, call Uber eats" - It wasnt Uber eats fault it was the restaurant's - Well the owner said we dont deliver there so there is nothing we can do. WHAT TYPE OF CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THAT?. WILL NEVER ORDER FROM HERE AGAIN AND WILL MAKE SURE EVERYONE KNOWS THAT THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND PROBLEM SOLVING ABILITIES IS EXTREMELY BELOW AVERAGE.
