The staff at the bar was borderline aggressive.
I was walking by, waiting 5 hrs for a connecting flight, I sat down at one of the stools, thought I'd have a look what they have, maybe have a beer. I was immediately barked out by a passive aggressive "can I help you?!" from an older, possible Jamaican woman. Barely any of the other tables were occupied, so I wasn't blocking anybody. Caught by surprise by her tone, I replied I was good for now. She began basically shouting at me that I have to leave and go "where all the other people are".
Later on, I bought a wrap in their adjoint food section (the young staff over there was nice). I figured since I bought something from them and all the places in the food section were occupied, I could sit at one of the tables in the bar, which again were mostly empty (one can imagine why at this point). Again, I was basically shouted out in a very impolite manner by a different employee. When I calmly asked her if she could ask me politely, she refused as little as to acknowledge her error and continued in the same aggressive tone.
Don't know what the deal with this place is. If you don't want people who haven't ordered drinks sitting at your stools, either put a little sign on the tables, or ask people politely. This is not a way to treat people.
Being on my way out of the United States, this was not a pleasant experience and I have to say in VERY stark contrast to most of the service staff I have encountered on my trip in the country.

No courtesy, no willingness to help, no basic respect. Sure, the sandwich was fine — but honestly, not even a Michelin-starred dish could make up for the way I was treated. You don’t just feel ignored here, you feel mistreated. And if you dare ask a question or raise a concern, you’re met with eye-rolls and condescension.
