Tiny's Tasty Treats — Restaurant in Newaygo

My family and I have gone here plenty of times in the last few years, today was the first time we and our friends felt unwelcomed.One employee angrily stared at our kids the entire time we were there, yes, the kids were running back and forth, no one else was inside. When someone did come inside, we took our kids outside. The kids proceeded to play in the bench area. Us parents told the kids to get down, each time they climbed up on the benches. However...inside, the same employee was making angry hand gestures to get down. Never actually said anything to us. This was very unprofessional and made both of us adults not want to ever go back because of how rude she was. Other then that. The ice cream was good and the other employee was nice when she asked the kids to stop touching stuff, unfortunately 1 bad apple can ruin the whole thing. In reply to the comment back. No the employee did NOT open the window AT ALL and say anything, and my kis touched the trash can each once, you guys said something before I could, which the running around, you should leave up to the parents on their own safety. If they get hurt playing with each other, then we as the parents will deal with that. No reason for your employee to give us such nasty looks. Last reply. OK...i can't even with the you guys, you are talking about siblings and kids who are under the age or 7. It was a day of celebration and you guys had to ruin it. No need to reply back since this will just keep going because we clearly both have things we could keep saying....

A coworker once told me that they don't like going to this ice cream place, because they always come across as rude... Well, I don't form opinions from others, so I tried this place myself with family and friends. I too did indeed experience rudeness. The employee was completely annoyed and miserable acting in their position. When they displayed an act of poor customer service I questioned them, so they realized what they did. They didn't have an answer for it, but did become slightly more pleasant after doing so. The inside smelled strongly of urine too that day. I wouldn't mind giving this place a second chance outdoors, because it is more cost friendly... But Opes down the road has shown me exceedingly beyond expectations of good customer service, so I think I will stick to them going forward.. I do hope for a good future for Tiny's. Newaygo has an awesome community of local...

I am shocked to see the good reviews and more shocked to see the owners referred to as a happy couple. I have never been treat3ed more poorly at any food establishment. They were rude from start to finish. They slammed the window on us because we took too long deciding. The owner was mad at my daughter because she asked to see the small flurry cup size. He did not take my youngest nieces order because he said I was just discussing it with her and never told him, however she was last and there was nothing else he could have possibly been waiting for. Later I heard both the man and the woman almost yelling at another customer because she questioned the cost of her daughter's cone. They yelled at her that her daughter ordered a flavor blast and that was more money. On top of being yelled at, we are on vacation and have had ice cream every night, this was $10 more than every...
