Flame Broiler — Restaurant in Newport Beach

BEWARE OF THIS LOCATION‼👎 When I arrived I saw two employee's (male and female) were inside sitting at a table and were eating😧 As I entered they both got up from the table then the female assisted me at the register. Meanwhile the male employee started preparing my order. I noticed he did not wash his hands and was still chewing food🤢 The female was cordial then I waited for my order. While waiting I noticed the sauce trays were dirty, the raspberry ice tea was empty and the employees had left their food/mess on the table they were eating at. During my visit there were no other customers in the store. PLEASE UNDERSTAND it's a major health code violation when employees don't wash their hands before they prepare customers food‼ I was so grossed out by the event I couldn't even eat my food so I guess I waisted 10 dollars😡 Please train your employees on health code standards‼ there should be a designated location for them to take breaks. went to Frame Broiler on Jamboree Road and I honestly will not be coming back. I ordered an Avocado Salad with chicken and the experience was extremely disappointing. The photos show decent portions of avocado, but what they actually serve are paper-thin slices that feel like a joke.

When I asked them to check the portion, the lady at the counter started reading off the menu about “three ounces of chicken and avocado included.” I can read just fine—that wasn’t the issue. The issue was that they were clearly serving much less avocado than what is advertised. Her “solution” was to add two more thin strips of avocado, which still wasn’t anywhere near reasonable.

The customer service was dismissive and unhelpful, and the food does not match the way they promote it. I only went because I had a coupon, but even with that, I regret wasting my time and money. Definitely not recommended. we had to go next door to get some decent food! DO NOT WASTE YOUR...

I got my food on 10/7 at 1300. (In case management wants to know which employee got them this bad review). Not only was the female short with me, she didn't listen to my order at all and got it completely wrong. I'd understand this if it was busy but I was one of 5 ppl in the building. When I kindly approached her and handed my bowl back in she shook her head and told the chef to make a new one. Instead of a new one I got some left over cold beef and cold rice tossed on top and it was thrown back onto the counter. I never got a sorry bout that or anything. She was rude and unpleasant to deal with. I refuse to give my business to such poor and unprofessional service...
