Here are the results of my 6 week challenge. While I'm happy with my results I'm completely disappointed with the owner Brian Greene. I joined under what was advertised as a "free" 6 week program promoting The Look Fitness by social media, social online reviews, before and after pics, and checking in at The Look Fitness at least 18 times during this period. I followed this program diet and workout schedule to a tee even exceeding my allotted 3 classes per week. This "free" program requires a $599 deposit to make sure you stick with the curriculum and complete it. Upon completion and my final weigh out I was told I would not be receiving my $600 deposit back because I did not lose 25 lbs, 6% body fat, or gain 6lbs muscle. I lost 4.6% body fat and gained 4.2 lbs of muscle instead. I would have never in a million years sign up for a 6 week $600 program if I didn't expect to receive my deposit back as described in the initial group consultation. I even remember Brian saying that it wasn't important to hit the goals if you stuck with the program until completion.
Brian has the right to run his 2 year old business as he likes but I doubt that the negative reviews that will continue will help grow his clientele.
I do want to make a point that The Look Fitness has a great training staff motivated me to stick with the program from start to finish. A special thanks to Michelle, Carmen, and Riley who keep on your form during the Boot Camp, TRX, Battle Ropes, and Butts and Gutts classes. While the diet portion of the program is hard to adjust to at first it gets easier by the end of week 2. Unfortunately I can not recommend The Look Fitness due to the business practices of the owner.
I would like to re-concur that I did follow the nutrition program down to every meal. I never told you (Brian) or any of the staff that I was not following the meal program. I've talked to other participants of this program with similar results. I even attended MORE classes then was on the program and continued to work out and run the last week when I ran out of classes. I understand that you will not reward my $600 deposit as the program advertises but want others to be aware of this deceptive program. What a lot of people don't know is the program stipulates an online review before a reward of...

TL: DR: Participated in the 6-week challenge and lost 10% (21 lb) of body fat. No diets or supplements and such, just eating healthy and working out 3 times a week.
Like many of us, I work out (twice a week + bike commuter) but hardly see anybody change. So, over the summer, I decided to participate in the six-week challenge at The Look Fitness.
We all know nutrition being the most important thing about being healthy, but we tend to ignore it. Or like me, I simply never gave a genuine try to eat a balanced and nutritious diet. Through the six-week challenge, while challenging I was able to learn about portion control and substitutions of heavy foods for light foods that still fill you up but didn't leave you with an excess of calories. For the most part, most of my daily meals didn't really change. I did have to eat less often and fewer amounts of pizza from time to time. Among other things, avoiding to eat at fast food restaurants, on the bright side, there was a whole new menu I got to explore from restaurants.
The work out the aspect of the challenge was pretty amazing. The small group exercise classes are really enjoyable. The variety of classes are even more amazing. This including Bootcamp, Strength Training, Boxing, Yoga, Core and much more. Another cool feature, at least personally, its that it's a small gym creating a sense of familiarity among your fellow gym goers and coaches. I really like consistency and the gym delivers a consistent but amazingly flexible schedule and every class with pure energy. I roughly worked out about an hour and a half more per week than on my own but felt that I got a drastic different result from this workout. The drastic work out change allowed my body to maxim weight loss; steadily over six weeks.
Its a really awesome place. Would love to continue going to the gym, but I finished my graduate program at UCI and had to...
Read moreI came across the ad for the 6-week challenge on Instagram and was skeptical when I first saw it. Yet, I still decided to check it out and I scheduled a consultation. I am very glad I did this, I started the challenge weighing in at 225.9lbs and ended the challenge weighing 199.7lbs. The facility is fairly small but the classes I took tended to have no more than 10 people present, thus allowing the instructors to truly help out anyone who needed assistance or clarification on anything. One complaint I have is the lack of classes that would easily fit in my schedule and there were some classes that I was interested in trying but they were only offered on specific days and times and these did not always work with my schedule. Another complaint that I had was the $600 deposit that is required to participate in this “free” program, yet they were able to set up payment plan for me so that was a little more accommodating. While here, I worked with Bryan and Michelle the most, and both of them are really great. Both Bryan and Michelle were very friendly and seemed to genuinely care about helping people reach their fitness goals. I highly recommend checking out a bootcamp or a battle ropes class with Michelle or a boxing class with Bryan, because these were some of my favorites. In conclusion, if you are on the fence about doing the program, just like I was, just check it out, I am...
