One of the worst coffee hous experiences of my life......I went into ask about the Cold brew. And asked about the time on the drip etc ..the cashier first proceeded to not hear me by saying " what?" constantly, then when I asked about the timing on the drip, she didn't know what that meant.. so I explained it to her and then she proceeded to tell me, "yes I know what that is" very condescendingly, then I asked if there were different flavors of cold crew in which she said no. Then I asked if she had other flavors in which she said no ...I was very calm and collected the whole time but the cashier acted so annoyed for some reason and then the barista just put my drink out and didn't say a word....when I walked up to get the cold crew I saw that another cold crew had sweet foam on it so I asked the cashier why didnt she offer the foam in which she said I didn't ask...but I had no idea what they had because she said there was no other flavors, in which I replied well I'll pay extra for the foam but was disappointed I wasn't offered the foam as an added taste....then the brunette manager came up to the register and started talking to me in a stern voice like I did something wrong by wanting the foam...I told her I'd pay extra and went straight to the register without a thought and paid cash , the brunette haired female manager kept on giving me attitude the whole transaction and at one point told me, IT...

I visited this coffee shop for the first time, Wednesday afternoon. When I walked in the employee who helped me was talking to a customer that was sitting at a table. Neither of them had on masks, which is fine because neither did I. The employee put a mask on before she ask to help me which told me I needed a mask, even though the customer had no mask on. I thought fine maybe that's an everyday customer. I ordered my drink, employee askes if I need something else. I ordered a second drink, then ordered a food item. Then I let her know I also wanted a cookie, to which she replied, "what." I thought wow, that was very rude but I did not say anything. I repeated, " a chocolate chip cookie." She said okay and gave me the total. I hand her the money in her hand, she then placed my coin change on the counter then placed the bills on the counter. That was also extremely rude. I was picking up my coins from off the counter and she walks away to get my food items. Never once did she say thank you or even have a good day. Before I walked out she started talking to the customer who was seated asking her if she was leaving. Give her some customer service training please. I will not ever return.

Stopped by Newport Coffee Co. with a good buddy of mine before heading to a business walk for entrepreneurs. I have passed by this spot so many times but never had the chance to try it until today. Almost every time I drive by, there is a line out the door which definitely catches your attention. I ended up getting a matcha latte with vanilla sweetener and whole milk. It was solid—smooth and not overly sweet, which I liked. My business partner got a classic iced drip coffee and it was gone in a few seconds, so no complaints there. That said, while the drinks were good, it was nothing crazy or unforgettable in my opinion. I may not have ordered the thing everyone raves about, but for me it felt pretty standard overall. Nothing that would make me go out of my way to come back unless I was already nearby. It is definitely convenient if you are in the area or just want a decent cup of coffee or tea by the beach. Friendly staff and clean spot, just not something I would hype up...
