Siam Station — Restaurant in Newport Beach

FABULOUS SERVICE ! My wife and I are big fans of Siam Station so another visit to this new location was on the cards. We arrived just before 2pm and parked right in front. Straight after we headed inside we met Emma the manager and Ellie one of the chefs. WE WERE STARVIN' ! Emma brought us menus and we asked for cold waters. We kicked things off with a Potsticker Appetizer ( love 'em ) and a Thai Iced Tea to share. MAINS ! My wife had to have the Pad Woon Sen ( glass noodles, stir fried with garlic sauce, egg and mixed vegetables ) with Shrimp ( $3 ) and I ordered Kua Kai ( flat rice noodles, stir fried with egg, bean sprouts, green onions ) with Crispy Pork ( ($3 ). Our Potsticker Appetizer hit the table at lightning speed followed quickly by our Thai Iced Tea to share....nicely divided into 2 large plastic cups. And it all tasted great. Soon after our main meals arrived...huge beautiful looking serves. I had never tried Kua Kai before...very soft flat noodle. Sadly the Crispy Pork add on was chewy pork belly...not my thing ! On the other hand my wife was over the moon enjoying her glass noodles and huge shrimp....

FABULOUS LUNCH ! On Saturday after doing some shopping in the area we headed over here for lunch. CAN'T GO WRONG ! The food is always good at Siam Station locations. My wife and I pulled into the private parking lot around 12.50pm. When we walked inside Emma the friendly manager greeted us warmly. We also had a quick chat with Ellie one of the chefs. It was nice and cool inside with the air con.....quite hot outside. HUNGRY ! Emma the manager took our lunch order for 1 x Cashew Chicken ( stir-fried marinated chicken, soy sauce, house sauce with cashew nuts, onions, dried chili, carrot ), 1 x Kapow ( classic style stir fried with holy basil combination of chili, garlic, green beans, carrots & bell pepper )...with filet mignon. VERY FAST ! Believe it or not our meals hit the table within 5 minutes of ordering. TOTALLY DELICIOUS ! Everything tasted perfectly cooked with top quality ingredients. My wife asked Emma for a Thai Iced Tea....always very refreshing. ONE OF OUR FAV...

Just a few minutes away from Seaside Bakery, you're gonna find OC's newest restaurant serving up arguably the best Thai food in Newport Beach.

Their Khao soi looks absolutely insane and comes with egg noodles AND topped with crispy noodles and is a must-order, and, of course, we had to get the Pad Thai to see how it measures up and it did not disappoint.

If you're feeling soupy, their Tom kha is so heartwarming on a cold winter day, and the difference is in the quality of their ingredients.

There's so much parking at this hidden gem which is such a rarity on Balboa Island.
