Hardee’s — Restaurant in Newport News

I really enjoy Hardee's breakfast no matter the Location but on this particular morning I went to the Hardee's on Jefferson towards J Clyde in Newport News and enjoyed every detail of my visit. Well, not the tooth pain that follows my meals Lately 🦷😬. Totally...Not Hardee's Fault. The very moment I pulled up to the speaker to order, a male voice welcomed me and with the kindest of voice complemented me and had patience and just down right happy to be there and appeared to enjoy preparing a delicious breakfast for my family & other ppl too. I didn't get his name but I hope to visit that location again just to have his good vibes & positivity wear off onto me. Once I get his name I'll edit this post. If not for him, I would have stuck with 3 ⭐'s...bc of very kind black man that I hope to see again to ask his name, I am giving this location 5 ⭐'s. Thank you for brightening my 🌄...

Took 11 minutes to get four sausage and egg biscuits. Not really the workers fault. One person cooking the orders and one person was working drivethrough and the front register. Now to the food. Tried the Beyond Meat sausage patty. I'm a fan of their store bought burger patties, but the sausage from Hardee's was pretty bad. Reminded me of an overcooked, unseasoned, bean patty. I took the patty off my second biscuit, but the biscuit was also dry and bland. Normally, there is an adequate amount of butter. Maybe this visit was an anomaly. However, the Beyond sausage is a wrap. I'll never get that again. I threw in a second star because the people seemed to care. They were just...

So the manager and the assistant manager are very nice to deal with, they always make sure that you have what you need, and our very friendly, but the other employees that work there or kind of racial in my opinion, when you go in there if you're white, they totally ignore you when you try to talk to them, and they seem like they don't like white people. I bought it to the assistant manager's attention, and she said she cannot help what they do when she's not there, but she would mention it to them. I was in there this past Sunday getting breakfast, and I still had standoffish attitudes. Maybe the people that own it can do something about it, it's not good...
